Great vid sir I'm just about to put a heavy slug liner in my impact and I'm gunner check out the twist rate on both and the place I brought the barrel told nothing about witch way it goes in so I could of put in backwoods and I'm guessing my accrossey would of been all over the place thanks for great info. Dirt E, Very informative video. I would caution about leaving out the o-rings however. They may affect the dynamics of the barrel. We all know what a bow does to a violin string, well the friction of a traveling pellet does very much the same thing to the barrel. That center o-ring theoretically could increase the fundamental frequency of the liner by a factor of 4 if it is in the middle. just like putting your finger down on the string halfway down the neck of the violin. Natural frequency is inversely proportional to the square of the length. It might not make any difference it depends on what the rocking frequency of the pellet is as it travels down the barrel. This might be a sequel to another Dirt E video. The accuracy testing should be done both with and without the O-rings. I would tend to err in favor of the factory. Hopefully the question is moot.
the O-rings reduce the vibration, you are right, they were not designed to have them there for nothing. good point, that is what I thought while i was watching the video. adding some silicone oil on the O-rings may help inserting them.
I have mines out. My gun couldn't be more accurate. I'm not saying without em makes it more accurate. I'm just saying. I have mines off (fx impact mk2 700mm) and its laser accurate. I'm using 3 different types or pellets too. Pollymag 26g. Jsb heavys 26g. And the mk2 33g. All deadly accurate..
Без колец стволик при выстреле будет болтаться! И кучности не будет! Поэтому его надо крепить чтобы он не колебался при выстреле! Для этого используют резиновые кольца. Еще делают обмотку углеродной нитью. У меня без колец кучность ужасная! А когда я закрепил стволик на втулках - кучность улучшилась значительно!

No, but if the barrel was 30 inches the rifling would of done one full revolution.
