Personally, it is. Even though "Material Control" is just solid as fuck overall.
Sickest statement i would contest sure enough. Sweetest/nostálgica/fresh chorus=shira. Smoothest most fun song run through=my conscious. Also a rad statement musically from title crack. Most interesting =strange hours. Perfect intro song=NWE ( intro song) new vocal style =cut and run. Beck can actually play solos and good ones at that =shira. My over all favorite thing about MC. As it even says thank you on back sleeve its a glassjaw fan like glassjaw. Its fucking great but its not begging for anyones attention

I love this band. I remember not digging how much they changed after the first album. But in hindsite I think their musical journey is amazing.
Ever since 97, Glassjaw has been a love of mine.
I remember finding them on napster and not getting it at first. And then suddenly it clicked in my head and they have been one of my very favorite bands since.

They produced the album themselves basically; they purposely did that. I read that they always wanted the bass to be the focus of attention, even around the time of worship and tribute, apparently, but were not able to do because of their then label. so now that they are well established, they are really showing what they always wanted to do. They have a song in the album called "Citizen" that was written before their first album, i think that is crazy.
