    I bought this flashlight 2 months ago. I love it. I own a lot of Olights but I’m open to other awesome flashlights 🔦 that will help me out in a emergency 🚨

    That’s a pretty neat flashlight. I have so many Olights that I love but the wide area flood definitely would come in handy. The only thing is that interface. With so many options I’d always be searching for a manual, or more likely, only use the simple functions. Other than my girls getting a kick out of it I’m doubtful I’d use the RGB colors. Maybe red to save night vision but even that’s a stretch.

      I thought the options might be a lot too, but they are pretty straight forward. Getting to the different lights and then holding the switch to change modes is all you really have to know. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching! 👍

    I like that light I’m an appliance service tech, and I have the olight, Archfield pro and the Milwaukee rechargeable magnetic light similar to that that has the row of LEDs on the side but I literally just bought this one so I don’t have to carry two lights. Thanks.

      Yeah though about that Milwaukee light too. Thanks for watching! 👍

    That's a lot to remember 😮
    Just an on off button will do for me

      I get that. It’s not bad. You triple tap to change from one light to the next when the light is on and then either double tap or hold the button to change the light modes.

    For the phone charging can you use usbc to lightning?

      Yes, for charging an iPhone, that’s what I did in the video. Thanks for watching!

      2 more questions number 1 if you connect it to a mac via usbc to usbc can you charge the light or does it charge the mac number 2 can you use usbc to usbc to charge the light normally if you connect it to your own power brick for eg the apple 30W charger with a white apple usbc to usbc cable just wanted to make sure about these two questions thanks pine!

    Runtimes??

    • @projectpinehills
      @projectpinehills  4 місяці тому

      On Low which is 100 lumens, it will last roughly 17 hours and 36 minutes. If you opt for high-power modes, the runtime is around 2-4 hours. Click the link in the description for all the runtimes. Thanks for watching!

      Take it easy… it’s simple, even you could do it.

    Why would I want RGB on a work light? Total waste
    Purple on a flashlight? Total waste

    • @projectpinehills
      @projectpinehills  4 місяці тому

      Because it’s easily to add to the flashlight. The light defaults to red for use in low light without blowing out your night vision or using to direct traffic.

      Just because there isn't value to you doesn't mean it doesn't have value to others. In a (admittedly very specific) situation, different colors could communicate different meanings. If nothing else, colored light can be easier on some NODS compared to white light, if your specific situation required it.

      @jackglennon497 well I probably didn’t explain it as simply as I could have. They have a new model, IF24 that has a simple UI that would probably suit you. Thanks!
