    Hi UA-cam, I'M BACK!
Wow. I haven't posted any new videos since late 2021. It took me until now to sort things out, and moving forward this channel will look pretty different. I'm still very much dedicated to the physical and spiritual science of pain, healing, regeneration and freedom - and you can expect new content to reflect those topics. You will definitely see videos from me exploring partner fascia release and Kinetix (my methodology of mapping).
And, I'm launching a podcast called The Human Freedom Project that will be available on all the usual audio only platforms, but since it is a video podcast it will also be published here on my UA-cam channel. I'm really excited about this podcast!
What you will NOT see from me are new self fascia release videos. I've stopped teaching self fascia release. This channel update video explains, in part, why.
After a long hiatus, it feels good to be back. If you're inspired to join me for this next chapter, then welcome aboard!
    XOXO
    Elisha Celeste

100% relatable. I'm 40 and for the past couple of years I worked so hard to achieve what I thought was my dream, only to realise that form of healing was not the way I had healed myself. I became miserable before I realised that. And my health and energy had bombed because I was out of integrity, but I just couldn't figure out why until I crashed and quit and figured it all out. I'm so happy you took the time as well.

Hello Elisha, I found your channel only last week and need to tell you that you have given me great hope. I have been a lifelong mountain lover; rock climbing, skiing, mountaineering feed my being physically, emotionally, spiritually and creatively, so your own story of the loss of your great passion touched me very deeply. 30 years ago, I suffered a strong blow to my hip, had a leg operation and a traumatic relationship breakup, which together created a progressive paralysis of all the muscles around my pelvis such that it is now very difficult to move freely. In spite of exploring yoga, Pilates and many other therapies consistently over all those years, a solution has eluded me. When I watched your first video, I found that I have nearly all the root causes that you listed and had already understood that the muscles were firing continuously, so I started to work on the fascia immediately with a soft ball and the next day had a greatly increased range of movement. The muscles have since stiffened up, which tells me that they are starting to fire normally as the strait jacket of locked up fascia is relaxing. At the same time a lot of emotional pain is being released, which I am well used to handling, so it is a very positive sign. I am so happy that I have found you because I am now certain that I can crack it and begin to experience the joy of mountains again. Thank you so much! Rob

Thanks! Great explanation of your own process. I really respect your integrity in all this self-review and re-orientation. So many people would just keep pumping out content because it brings in revenue. Thank you for being so honest about what you've learned. I'll still keep working on self-facial release, but I'm eager to hear and learn more about what you're learning.

I really appreciate your comment 💛 and just in case it's unclear to you or anyone else, I don't believe self fascia release is not useful. It is. But it has limits, and it's also not my origin story or how I resolved my chronic pain. Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback!

There will be online and in person classes, and my goal is to have in person Schools all over the world, so people can attend where they live. But, we will have to nurture that into existence and start here, in Colorado.

Wow! Thank you for your honesty and thank you for all the sharing. I love to write, too. I use Medium instead of Substack, I’m just not familiar with the Substack platform.
Looking forward to the new podcast as I really enjoy deep discussions and topics. I love to delve into consciousness, meditation, yoga, breath, and how all of that relates to one another. As an example, a simple forward bend, with an exhale, as in yoga, will enhance and drive ones energy upward, moving beyond primal drivers such as survival and reproduction. Headstand is a more intense version of the same energy exchange.
Also, when you were discussing “beliefs” it may me think of the book - I Am That by Nisargadatta Maharaj. It is a wonderful book that will make us challenge any and all of our beliefs. Leaving us with a much more expansive knowingness of who we are. A tremendously powerful book.
Look forward to hearing from you once you have time.
Thank you for doing what you do!

You might consider checking out Substack. It's been a love/hate relationship for me, but the good outweighs the bad, and it's the only platform I spend time on other than UA-cam, in terms of "consuming" content. You can check out my Substack here: humanfreedomproject.substack.com/

I came across your channel in January, As i am educating my self about how to release trap trauma in the body. like what you said on your video meditation or talk therapy dont work for you. I also i have tried other method like meditation, body scan and other but i found out that i am heavily disconnected from my body.
I tried your fascia release while making EMDR, and i put a bottle below my calf. Less than a week i see an improvement. The restless leg syndrome has gone. i am walkiing 2 hours everyday without my legs getting tired and stiff.
I love your integrity and honesty and deep mind. I am also going through existential crisis and the only way to cope with is to disconnect form all the noise.
    Thank you for your passion

Hey, wow, thank you. I appreciate hearing this from you. It is my mission in life to help people understand pain, and how to resolve it. I had so much chronic pain when I was your age, and it's such a mysterious thing that even today it is still not understood fully. I'm learning more every day, and will continue to share what I learn. I have an audio I think you'd really like. It's available when you go to my website. It's long - 2 hours - but it is a very comprehensive deep dive into the nature of pain, the science, and how to conceptualize pain in order to heal and grow through it. It was more changing for me in my journey with pain.
I was actually part of the study described in the book and worked with him directly.
I was healed in only a few sessions with this method.
Best of luck to you. None of us deserve to be in chronic pain!

Hi Elisha, thank you for what you do . I have had pelvic instability for more than a year and i saw several fisio but sadly noone and nothing helped. My pubic bone and adductors hurt a lot and i cant walk without pain. I saw your videos and i think you can help me, you seems to understand how to fix it. Do you still have some link, or some video to help me ?
    Thank you so much
    Julie

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 місяці тому

Hi Julie, I no longer teach self fascia release (the foam rolling and ball techniques shown on this channel), which means the course you are referencing has been archived. I do work with clients 1-1 via Zoom. Pelvic instability is a very complex phenomenon. So is pain.
The reason I stopped teaching self fascia release courses for people in pain is because it's impossible to create one course that can solve everyone's pain. Pain is unique to your body, injury history, nervous system, traumas, mindset, beliefs etc.
Tens of thousands of people have used my UA-cam techniques to get out of pain (as the comments section show). But a lot of people try them and get nowhere. Its the chronic persistent pain that refuses to budge no matter what someone does that creates a necessity for personalized diagnostics.
If you're looking for free help, try browsing through my UA-cam videos. I have a lot of videos that describe the phenomenon of pelvic instability and how to resolve it. The one thing I always want to stress, however, is that pain is not synonymous with damage, dysfunction or injury. Pain is based on perception (through the senses). So there's a big difference between resolving pain, and reversing pelvic instability dysfunctions (like incontinence).
If you're looking for personalized guidance, diagnostics and support, I recommend reading about me on my website, maybe downloading and listening to the audio available there, and if you resonate with me - you can schedule a Zoom session. www.elishaceleste.com/

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 місяці тому +1

All the videos will stay up, since they are helping so many people. One of the reasons I stopped teaching self fascia release courses is because everyone experiences pain for reasons unique to them, their body, their life history, habits, traumas etc. Generic protocols don't work to address the needs of individuals, especially in cases of chronic pain. I've just recorded an audio that you might like. It's all about pain and how to resolve it for good. It's available on my website: www.elishaceleste.com/
But I will also be posting new content here all about pain and how to resolve it.

Thank you for answering Elisha. I appreciate your integrity and how you evaluate your own work. It is true what you say we are all different and I should think it's too big a task for one person to map it all out. It has to be an ongoing process. But I am very grateful that you will keep your videos up. Even if it isn't the be- all end-all solution for each and every person it can be an opening to a personal process with the body. I have disconnected from it (the body :) so for me it was just right. So what you are doing is enough. Any discipline will go sour when you think it's the one and only answer and you are aware of that which is great! Not many therapists know that. And good luck with all the new ventures! I have gotten your audio and will listen to it. @@ElishaCeleste
