This is the video I've been looking for specifically. I noticed your lathering technique in some of your other shave videos and it piqued my attention. Since I've adopted your lather technique, my shaves have been the best yet, and I've been wet shaving for decades with a double edge razor. Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks? My shaves have improved so much, I'm almost ready to try a shavette. Thank you very much for sharing. Stay sharp and safe.
Greetings. I started with Colgate, moved onto Williams (still have 3 cakes left holding onto like gold), and now recently moved onto Arko. I am very temped to try Proraso, I'm sure it is very good, but for economy, Arko is priced right. Right now cutting pucks off the stick and pressing into a teak wood shaving bowl. Great classic barber shop like the soaps we've used in past.
@@BarberT Thank you. I took your advice from another one of your videos about crushing and molding the stick in your hands and pressing the stick into a small tub. I used a small porcelain cup, but I recall you mentioned don't use the metal, go with a plastic tub instead. I was going to press the remainder of my stick into the wooden bowl I have, but sometimes the wood after the time will cause the soap to get an off color, darker, so I think the small porcelain cup will be better long term. I shave 5 days a week for my job, so I don't need to make a lot of soap, a little will go a long way. Arko has become my #1 go to soap, and if anyone reading is tempted to try Arko and never have, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
Hello Master! I have a question for you. I bought a jaguar shaving brush, but it is very hard for me and scratch. How can I soften it? I kept for 3 days in cold water in fridge but it is still very hard and scratch. Help me
Hello mate brush making the animals hair or plastic it’s if animal hair badger or pig hair put in hair conditioner limit couple of days it’s will be get softer after that if it doesn’t just get a new one mate

Amazing, loving Arko Soap and Proraso (here in Italy is famous just like Arko in your country). Already subscribed to your channel, keep it up with the good quality videos!
Νice video arkantas. I use arko with your way ,,but,,with cold water. Really when i shave my self with cold water,i have not any irritation! If i shave my self with hot water, usually i have problem on my neck. I use dovo shavettes and two passes only with the grain and derby extra blades. Hot water,,never!,,,
Nice! Lathers looked a little too wet though and not thick...? I keep a short stubble with an electric stubble razor and do cheek and neck lineups 2-3 times per week with either clear shaving gel or proraso shaving cream and double edge safety razor or cartridge razor if I’m in a real hurry.
