I enjoyed looking at all the patterns with you. I couldn’t believe how many of the patterns I like. Great coat and jacket selection. Thank you for sharing.
There's a lot of great patterns hey! Yes, lots of coats, although right now I don't have any plans on sewing a coat, but there were some definitely nice ones in there! I'm currently working on fitting the vest - this will show me what kinds of adjustments I will need to make for my future Lutterloh projects. I'll keep you posted! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Just found your channel. Thanks so much for explaining how the Supplement numbers work. I recently bought my Lutterloh system and I'm still trying to figure out how it works. I saw someone else on UA-cam making a Lutterloh top and she said it was Pattern 66. Well, her Pattern 66 was not the same as my Pattern 66. But, once you explained how the supplement numbers work, I was able to find the Supplement with that pattern. Unfortunately I'm not interested in that pattern any more but at least I found it. Can't wait to see your other videos I'll check out your friend Amelia's channel too. Thanks again!
I found your friend Amelia while looking for help with my lutterloh system. I subscribed to her channel and she mentioned your channel so here I am subscribed here as well. I love that the two of you are sewing with this system. I've been sewing a long time and I'm really good at following directions. I'm struggling a bit with putting things together without directions. I'm really looking forward to what you guys are going to do. Can I say I hope you consider doing that that jacket #1. I love everything about that entire outfit.
Hey Nancy! I thought I replied to your comment, but maybe I forgot to press enter. I apologize I'm replying later than usual. Thanks for your kind words! Yes, I too love that jacket....it's beautiful! I seen an advertisement somewhere with a jacket very similar to that and it had pearls around the bell part of the sleeve. It is definitely on my list to make! Thank you for watching and for subscribing, I really appreciate it!
You are a very brave to set out on something completely new and trying it for all to see. You have already stirred my interest and I've spent much of today watching other vloggers trying the Lutterloh Golden Rule System and I expect I'll give in very soon. Good luck in your sewing adventure!
Wow those are some stylish patterns 😍 not sure i'd have the patience to transfer and cut the pattern out but never say never cause you don't see alot of those patterns anywhere! And this company has been out how long? Stunning❤ can't wait to see what you make!
Thanks April! You know what.....I bought some plain brown wrapping paper from the dollar store and I'm using it to draw out my patterns. I'm not sure what your preference is, but when it comes to McCalls/Butterick patterns, I don't like using the tissue paper and I hate pattern tracing (but I do it anyways to save the original pattern). So comparing my method of what I do with McCalls vs Lutterloh.....I prefer this way better. That sparks an idea of comparing the process of doing a McCalls vs Lutterloh! It's been around since 1935....but....I think it only recently made it's way from overseas to North America! Thank you so much for stopping by!
@@SewNotes let me know how the brown paper does? My favorite pattern is print and cut from independent designers. I like how regular paper isn't flimsy like big 4.. But I do use them and trace some.. I have a projector set up I just need to learn to use it lol then maybe I'll go paperless?? I'll see how that goes? I have to do adjustments and idk how I'd do that with a projector? Anyways I'm excited to see your makes. Any idea what your going to try first?
I got this system for Christmas 2020. While I'm excited to get started using it, I'm completely annoyed that I have to convert everything into inches and yards etc. I mean really, if they want to market to America shouldn't they at least respect that our mwasurement system is different? Nothing can be checked "at a glance". We have to stop and look up the conversion on all of it. Hopefully the actual process goes smoother. I hate feeling negative about it right out of the gate.
Hey! Yea, I completely understand what you mean with the measurements, that can be frustrating! I'm cutting fabric for my first pattern tonight! Thank you so much for watching!
You got the set with the measure-tape in cm. The instructions for measureing is in cm? What is the problem? You measure your bust, waist and hips with this cm-measure-ribbon and know where to set the pin for your size, pinning the pattern-mini on your paper
You do know that the majority of the world uses Metric, and you don’t have to convert anything, measure in metric, use the tools provided to transfer the information in metric. Easy peasy
You don't have to keep removing the patterns from the folder. So please stop it's completely unnecessary, and boring. Just get on and flip through the pages.
I really love the paterns that came with your kit. Thank you for the flip through.
Thank you for stopping by!!!

Not a clue yet! Maybe that top and jogger at the beginning of the binder?! Yes, I'm curious too about adjustments on a projector!! Keep us posted!!!
@@SewNotes definitely!
I want that binder book? Where can I purchase that?
Hey! I purchased mine from the Canadian Lutterloh website. lutterloh.ca/sewing/specials/

is this the same as the golden rule?
Yes! I believe in Europe they go by Golden Rule and in Canada they go by Lutterloh. Essentially the same.
Me gustaría esté método pero todo es en inglés ?

Thank you very much for the feedback Dorinda, I greatly appreciate it! Thanks for stopping by!!
