- Taking on The Huggy's Burger Challenge at The Huggy's Bar in Brussels, Belgium! Hundreds of hungry diners have attempted and failed this challenge with just 45 minutes to finish a massive 3kg double bacon cheeseburger, a slide of slaw, and a side of fries. BUT! Winners can earn their meal for free, a groovy t-shirt, and a spot up on Huggy's Wall of Fame!!

I wonder if you should have flipped it over and let some of the juice hit the top bun while it cooled.
Would it make sense to turn the burger over and eat the softened bun first while the grease and sauce softens the hard bun? No idea if it would help at all, but maybe!
Literally had the same idea in mind, *edit or she could even put one burger patty on top of the crusty top part making it extra reverse burger O_o
Or pile the coleslaw onto the top bun and let it soak in while eating the burger!

Should have flipped all that grease and wetness on to the dry bun while you ate the soft bottom it would have sopped up some the grease and made it easier later

Hey Katina, congrats on 200. Huge burger, that top bun was something 😂.
Congrats on win #200. Here's a tip for next time you have a lot of bread to eat, if there is something that has sauce, like coleslaw, put it on the bread. Or an extra patty, that way the juices will help soak up some of the bread.
Would it have been “legal” to soak the top bun with water to soften it up while eating the burger patties?

Well done Katina I never doubted you at all. This challenge was one of those times where you had to dunk otherwise you would of have a hard time finishing the challenge that was some really hard bread.
I respect how you and Randy only use the dunk option when you absolutely have to that is a great thing.

You nailed it, Katina! When you get a hardened, thick bun like that, flip the burger over at the beginning so the top is on the bottom and all those juices soak into it softening it and it'll be easier to eat x

That’s a competitive eater move. Have you seen a hotdog eating comp? Yeah, they separate the bun from the dog. Goes down easier that way.

Maybe turn it over? I've seen people do that with regular burgers. It would have softened that top bun somewhat... but still would've been terrible in the end. It looked pretty crunchy.
