Many years ago, in a previous century, I was at a Taco Bill's Down Under, and they had a dessert called 'Death By Chocolate'. It looked very similar to that (not as classy, though, this was TB and I was a student). I ordered one, ate it, then complained. Was there something wrong with the food, they asked? Yes, yes there was - I have finished it, and am not dead. I demanded that they continue to bring me desserts until I died. They thought it was funny, and because I'd finished the first one so quickly, they gave me another one free. Good times.
I’d love to try this challenge! Could definitely take down the regular size, but I don’t think I’d risk a double. I fear I’d be feeling a bit overwhelmed with the sickliness of it all by then. 😂😂😂 Maybe with a black coffee!
Holy fudge! You, my dear, are a total badass -- I could not have finished it. Salute. Wish I could have been there to help out, but I see you had things well under control.
Ironically (and I'm sure that is why your video popped up in my feed) I just watched the beard guy do this challenge - eating 2 plates and he was dying. He had food down his beard, his eyes were rolling, and he left more melted food on his plate and in his glass but eventually finished and got his prize. You seemed calmer and less stressed by the challenge - I have no idea how you ate that much sugar and were able to keep going, but I am incredibly impressed! You are composed and amazing.
Totally professional and elegant ❤❤. I love chocolate but if I just have one piece..it goes straight to my hips😢 so It was very awesome to watch you eat em!!
I just got diabeetus from watching this. 🤣 Katina, though, eats almost daintily. Unlike the other speed eaters who shovel in the food, she makes eating massive amounts of food an art form.

Since Randy is into dietetics you guys should show your blood sugar levels after these challenges! It would be an interesting aspect to these videos and a cool teaching point on sugars and the body.
Not really, I mean a lil but sugar levels go up more from consistently eating this type of stuff, not from having one meal every once in a blue moon, especially for those who really eat healthy on a daily basis. This stuff builds up in your body over time
@@TheBookOfRoo I'm pretty sure that her blood sugar levels after this meal were probably really high, blood sugar does change a lot during the day, and if she is not used to eating that much sugar her body might not react quickly enough to deal with the increase as it is happening.

It doesn't happen over night though, it takes decades of crappy eating for most people. Your sugar is not your first problem, it's insulin. If you eat a ton of sweet stuff your body has to produce so much of it, that over time it will slowly start needing more and more to process the same amount of sugar - that is you lose your insulin sensitivity. I live not too far from Slattery's and have to say they're one of the best bakers in the North of England. High quality goodies in an elegant building that used to be pub. The place is packed every day. To do a double chocolate challenge is on another level, well done.
I’m from Manchester and have been to Slatterys lots of times! It looks achievable but it is so much harder than it looks! One of my partners who ate everything & anything couldn’t finish the regular one! So congratulations! X
Haven't seen you in a bit. Your hair has grown and you are looking good. You are amazeballs! I am in awe of you and that you could finish all that chocolate, especially since it is so heavy. Merry Christmas.
I have an absolutely insane sweet tooth. It's a blessing and a curse. 😂 I honestly think I could do this challenge! Definitely not a double, but the single sounds peeeeeeerfect.
Those look delicious and I’m a snacker but I physically would not be able to keep that down. Half of those an du would be throwing up into a toilet bowl😂
Mindy in fairness we don’t know her routine and all we see 63 uploads of her eating mass quantities. Those videos probably have been done over years but all we see is her eating in this moment. Also you hear her talk occasionally about doing more than one challenge a day so we over generalize that she eats that much everyday and at every meal. I think the comments are forgive-able.
I love Slattery's (I only live a couple of miles down the road) I know how rich their chocolate is. I'm not sure I could eat a single portion. (And I can eat 2 potatoes more than a pig)!
Wowowow!!! I can not believe it. I’m 5’5 ft 115 lbs, similar to her size I guess. I’m a BIG chocolate eater/ fanatic. I used to skip meals to be able to only eat chocolate (in various forms). I still have a crazy sweet tooth but I’d never be able to finish off that amount of Choco… not even the 1/2 portion. I would become nauseous from the sweetness overload. I find sweets to be way more filling than “actual” food. She’s a true champion!
Young she is 30 and and is in hospital now for heart disease and I believe her.online make believe husband is in a worse state.. but the yanks are over here and are receiving care from the nhs x
I went there with my hubby to celebrate my birthday. Ambience is nice but I couldn't even do half of the single portion challenge. Only ate the cups, quarter of the cake and drank the hot chocolate. Hats off to you.🎉
Love Slattery's it's just down the road from me, I've never tried the challenge as I think I'd up chuck after about 5mins! lol Well done Katina, that's awesome!! xx

I'm diabetic and I love chocolate; I try to allow myself treats occasionally but have to be careful. Just watching you eat this had me jittery and sweating lol.
Slattery's is pretty local to me and while I haven't tried this challenge (which has peaked my intertest) I took my mother there last year for the chocolate afternoon tea which was different and amazing :-)

Haven't seen you in a bit. Your hair has grown and you are looking good. You are amazeballs! I am in awe of you and that you could finish all that chocolate, especially since it is so heavy. Merry Christmas.
Kudos on your win, and an extra thumbs up for the Trunchbull quip.👍👍
Haha - its an iconic film! Cheers!
This is round the corner from my house, been a few times but never done the challenge, you've inspired me to try!
Same. I would love this 🥹
Does she really hold it all down? Does she not eat for a week after? How is she so slim???? HOW?
Fingers down the throat🤮
She vomits after every one of these
My thoughts too! Because it’s calories in calories spent. I do NOT understand how she’s not 500 pounds
Because she doesn't eat like this everyday obviously lol...
So what would you eat after doing this challenge? I was getting a stomachache just watching this! You're a champ!
That's actually really interesting since I don't find sweets filling AT ALL. If anything they just make me hungrier!
Someone of a similar size here. As a teen I might have been able to, but as an adult I would struggle with even the normal challenge. That is a lot!
@@mouthwaterinI’m the same lol I can eat non stop sweets!!!
Good job Katina , you made that look so easy and didnt struggle at all. Awesome 💪
You did awesome. I know it wasn't a timed challenge but you still did awesome. Keep up the great work. I love watching your videos
Katina's lack of profanity in her videos is appreciated more than she probably realizes. A genuine class act, this young Lady!
she said bucked up and i had to rewind and be sure i didnt hear wrongly
@@convenientfriend Ha!😄 Mr. Beard "slips" every now and then but we enjoy his videos too. You can tell he has fun doing them, as do his fans watching!
Young she is 30 and and is in hospital now for heart disease and I believe her.online make believe husband is in a worse state.. but the yanks are over here and are receiving care from the nhs x
I wish she would let a few vulgar words rip occasionally…. But whateves, people should be themselves.
@@exodortch Some of us can't "tolerate" class, huh?🤡
I went there with my hubby to celebrate my birthday. Ambience is nice but I couldn't even do half of the single portion challenge. Only ate the cups, quarter of the cake and drank the hot chocolate. Hats off to you.🎉
That was extremely impressive! I love chocolate but definitely couldn't handle that much! The hot chocolates looked amazing.
Love Slattery's it's just down the road from me, I've never tried the challenge as I think I'd up chuck after about 5mins! lol Well done Katina, that's awesome!! xx
Hello 👋 😊
I am so jealous. Chocolate is my favorite. It all looked delicious. I don’t know how you ate it all.
Was hoping you’d do this one! Iconic but a “Rocky Road” to the finish line 🍫🍫
Nothing better than English chocolate! It's the best! 😋
This is insane!! Randomly got recommended this, idk what I expected but I wonder how people can train their bodies to do this!! I’m very impressed hhahaha
What a beautiful challenge--love that they put the challenge name onto those chocolate sheets! And the chocolate bowls!! Bet the chocolates you won were great, WTG
Yes! The presentation of the challenge overall was stunning!
I’ve watched Beard do this and that man was a mess! 😂😂 A wonderful mess, for sure haha! You are so much the opposite! I absolutely loved this! Nicely done ma’am!
As a diabetic I'd be on a life-support system if I'd eaten that. But, oh my, what fun it was to watch you eat what I crave every moment of every day.
Showed my husband this as I'm 100% sure I could finish half of that easily (not double like you) 😂 I think I would struggle most with the hot chocolate
Watched Beard do this challenge and you were much more elegant and less messy. I think he doubles the order as well.
I'm diabetic and I love chocolate; I try to allow myself treats occasionally but have to be careful. Just watching you eat this had me jittery and sweating lol.
Same
I would die to even attempt this challenge. I’m very lactose intolerant!😮 you go girl! 🎉
Yummmmmmmmm😊😊😊
You eat so neatly😊 enjoy your videos.
Slattery's is pretty local to me and while I haven't tried this challenge (which has peaked my intertest) I took my mother there last year for the chocolate afternoon tea which was different and amazing :-)
piqued...
I knew without a doubt being a desert contest you would do great! I remember some of your earlier vlogs when you had the cheat days you said ice cream opened your second stomach 😆 Good job Katina!
There used to be a dessert by the name of ‘Death by Chocolate ‘ . It was about half this size with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream.
I'm a dessert fanatic but not sure I could do all that. By the time I would've made it to the drinks I'd be chocolated out
I'd be full after half a piece of that cake, or two ice cream scoops. Impressive how you ate and drank all of that!! ❤
Hopefully, there was a trip to the hospital for a quick check-up afterwards. Diabetic everything on the list with a dish like that. Great video... 😎
She somehow makes eating all of this food elegant 😂
I don't know what it's like to be able to eat that much sugar. The normal size challenge would kill me.
