It was a really sad case. I think social media and lack of accountability are a cause of many of the current problems societies are facing.

@@liveyourdreammedia Agree to disagree cause Social media has its pros too. People are and were shitty and social media just made that more clear. Even without social media lack of accountability will always be a big issue with a lot of other cons we can put on social media. Without the internet, it would just be hidden like it use to be or still is technically.

Repeat offenders especially violent ones need to be locked up for significant time. 29 convictions and over 60 something offenses. Couldn't be more obvious. Should have been locked up for a long time, years ago. Whoever gave him paroles needs to be charged with something as well. Also highlights how destructive some people can be on alcohol. This crime was totally preventable.

I was once attacked by a man on a busy street, in a nice area, in broad daylight. He was a stranger to me but was trying to say I was his ex-wife. I tried to stop one of the many cars which were passing, no one stopped they waved me away. The people walking down the street turned away and crossed the road. No one came out of their house. The gentleman in a stationary car nearby did nothing, not even call the police. In the end I managed to get free and outrun him. Don’t assume people will come to your assistance. Don’t assume just because it’s Saturday at 2pm with lots of people around you are safe: YOU ARE ALONE EVEN WHEN SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE!

One time when I was out for a walk a random woman suddenly linked arms with me and started talking like she knew me. I was confused at first but she kept glancing behind her and I realized she was trying to get away from someone. So we kept walking for a few blocks, she called a friend who was in a bar nearby, and when we got close she said thanks and went to meet her friend. It doesn't take much to help someone but if you're being followed don't assume anyone else will automatically jump in to help you. That woman basically forced me to help but she was smart in doing that instead of just waving her arms screaming for help. I would happily do that again if it means keeping a person safe.

Guys like him are the reason why our mothers and girlfriends can't walk outside alone when it's dark and also the reason why girls are afraid of us young men / boys without us doing anything. I had it several times when I walked home from the supermarket (I'm often shopping there at 21.30 or even later) that girls who walked in front of me alone, were always looking at me (I'm walking faster than most women of course) and because I was afraid of making them afraid, I crossed the street or pretended that I'm on the phone (sometimes I was really calling a friend) and then talking about videogames or other nerdy stuff that hopefully makes her feel comfortable. Scary times we're living in. :(

Pretty grim that you should be experiencing that level of distrust. Problem is bad people (and they can be women as well men) don't have 'dangerous monster' tatooed across their foreheads. They look like me and you, so women in particular are cautious. I like wandering in the dark around 21.30 too. It's a nice time of day. I'm a sixty six year old retired teacher and school leader (female). My mum gives me grief. She says I'll be found dead, floating in the canal one day. Watch this space. In the meantime, you have every right to wander harmlessly in the dark and shop at 21.30.

People DO NOT change. Sex offenders should never be let out. 🤷‍♀️
Back in 2016, my ex-husband’s childhood friend tried to sexually assault me. He didn’t succeed. I told everyone about it. Reported it to the police. Some said: oh it’s women’s fault sometimes. I did nothing. We were on our way to my ex-husband’s mom’s wake. His friend had to pick me up from the airport because my ex-husband was still at the funeral parlor. I was an easy target for him, 5’2” Asian woman. He didn’t know I trained Muay Thai for four years and 3 years for boxing at that time. 2019, he sexually assaulted a 12 year old. Daughter of one of his childhood friend as well. And on that one, he was successful. I’m sorry, but people do not change. Sex offenders should just rot in jail. He was jailed, I was told. But released during the height of the pandemic. This isn’t right.

Taxi drivers have to have some paper trail at least if something were to happen, and I believe at least in some states, they need a special license. It's why I also talked about being on your phone. Talking to someone while walking or riding will help you seem like less of an easy target, because someone will immediately know something is up and likely to call the police. But I SO LOVE when you DO NOT bite your tongue! It makes the video that much more enjoyable!! I absolutely run to see your newly released videos. The ones you choose are quite interesting and it shows that similar things happen all over the world (sad as it may seem). Thank you for sharing your videos!

I’m rewatching this case, I had too many distractions today when I was watching it 🙆🏻‍♀️ In watching this video it just struck me about how many people are attacked within blocks of their homes, sometimes even just footsteps away. People get comfortable in their own neighborhood, their part of a town or city and their guard is down. They’re not looking around and aware of their surroundings. People need to make sure to not walk looking at their cellphone or wearing headphones or earbuds. If you’re not looking or listening you’re an easy target. The places you need to pay attention in most are the places you take for granted are safe. You can live without your cellphone or headphones when you’re out walking especially at night. It might just save your life! Be safe out there everyone. This case got me thinkin hard about this….

This case touched me so much, that guy is a monster who doesn't deserve any more freedom. Will you please cover Colleen ritzers case, I love how your videos are filled with footages, evidence etc. Can't wait for the next vid.

This is the first Coffeehouse Crime that has me shook. I think it’s because that dude had three chances to just go the hell home and sleep it off and STILL chose to do what he did. He never should have been let out. Some people cannot be rehabilitated. Period.

I simply love the way you report true crime. You look like you genuinely care. Take care and I hope you are well and having fun on your vacation. Or where you are and be safe. Ana Some one in San Antonio, Texas cares for you.

The real criminals are his parents who abused him instead of loving him as a child and raising him to be a respected man. This is why in Islam alcohol and drugs are forbidden and walking alone at night as a woman.

@Ali Mohammed, these are 2 completely separated crimes. The criminal is not excused because of this.
Anyone,no matter the gender, should not be limited because of fear that animals like the attacker, will feel free to abuse them, just because the person is out of their house in the time somebody decided it is fair for it to be unsafe.
      Give me a break,Mohammed! 23:54

@@lioncub7601 I didnt state the obvious that the killer is evil/bad.. everyone knows this. I just wanted to share the solution that my religion offers. Not every abuse is equally bad, this guy obviously wasn't raised well. I see him wrong, his parents, zara and her parents all are fault in zaras death

@@lioncub7601 Is it really possible to prevent every rape and killing of women by using the "women should not be limited "method? to me it sounds like wanting to teach wolves/wild animals to not eat the sheep instead of protecting the sheep.
When you live in a world where "monsters" don't exist then you can be weak, drunk, and alone at night, but the reality is that Allah SWT forbade that in the Quran, because until the day of judgment monsters will always exist.

this case happened exceptionally close to me .
Breaks my heart as the tube station really isn’t far from where she was unfortunately murdered.
The park close by valentines park is one of me and my sister’s favourite spots , I have only been once since this happened I really hope they do a memorial in the park for her ❤

Thank you so much for sharing this story, i live here in the UK and i honestly never heard of this case, i believe you said in the video that it was at the same time as Gaby's story which had over shadowed this story. It's just awful to think this could happen to anyone. I totally unprovoked attack. There's simply no excuse for this behaviour, no matter how you were brought up.
