Dr wendi It could have been typing mistake At 3:55 the calories should be typed as Calories (capital C) In nutrition we use upper case Calorie which is equivalent to 1000 small calories. 1 small case calorie is the amount of heat energy required to rise the temperature of 1ml/1gm of water by 1°celsius. In foods this would be very small and irrelevant to use. So 1000 small calories is taken as 1 upper case Calorie in nutrition.
