Even if the Cardinals don’t get the #1 pick in the draft. The class of ‘24 is set to be so damn loaded with quality quarterbacks, they could choose a quarterback anywhere in the First Round and still come out positive.

I never really found it impressive when a person who is above average height and size did something above average especially when people around him are the same. What I find amazing is that the 5"5" Duece Vaughn is able to compete, Kyler Murray 5"9" can compete, and 5"10" Tyreek Hill can compete.

I don’t where this “generational talent” or “once in a life time” guy is. I see that in guys like Andrew Luck and Trevor Lawrence but I don’t see that in Caleb. I also just don’t see any changes to the Cardinal’s performance if Caleb was the QB. The right QB for the cardinals isn’t the problem.

If you play in a conference with a large group of NFL draft potential you basically get a tiny taste of what nfl play might look like. 16 players from USC went to the draft from 20-23. Alabama had 10 players drafted last year and University of Gerogia had 10 players drafted.

As a Cardinal fan I’d rather stick with Kyler Murray. He’s the most exciting QB we’ve ever had on the field. Unfortunately he had Steve Keim as his GM and Kliff as his HC/OC. One thing about Steve Keim is that he was a terrible GM from the get go. He did have some splash trades but he could never build assets, draft and keep good relationships with players. Kliff bit off more than he could chew with taking on both HC/OC roles which showed with his time management. The offensive scheme was getting predictable with always being in shotgun formation along with receivers running slants and out routes all the time. They were always in a Win Now mode with Keim as GM, he would always sign injury prone players along with vets who were past their prime and it always collapsed in the second half of the season. Monti has acquired future 1st round picks and a chance to get Kyler a WR in MHJ and build an offensive line. The defensive side has shown signs of improvement with the lack of talent so far, it’s just the offense needs improvement to keep time of possession.

Yeah Gannon swindled the league. He was mid his first year and then blamed it on lack of talent. Not to mention he admitted that the players on defense had to help him with his coaching. The following year the Eagles load up on their defense and he reaps the benefits and gets the chance to show the Cardinals he’s full of 💩

No one is going to give a first round draft pick plus have to pay that guaranteed contract that the Cardinals gave. I don't understand these contracts these QB's get hindering your team for 4 to 5 years or longer. It's like this QBs have the owners over a barrel which I don't understand that. Let them test free agency and guarantee you they won't get half the money or even close to what you would be paying them on the open market and if they do, let them walk. There are potentially 7 or or first round QBs in the upcoming class. You picking first 2nd or 3rd or 10th you can still get a great franchise QB .
We've heard that before, then wind up with Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Gabbert, Ponder, Locker, and on and on when it comes to top 10 pick can't-miss quarterback prospects.
There will probably be one, maybe 2 solid franchise QBs coming out of the draft. One of them will probably be a huge surprise to the league and won’t even be a first rounder. These guys are either overhyped or just can’t overcome being on a bad team.

i played with clayton tune as my starting QB in Madden 24 Cardinals rebuild and he threw 7 TDs and 23 INTs in his simmed rookie season. I wouldnt bet on him either.

Dobbs may be the best QB in the division. He's NFL mobile with a good arm. He's seen a bunch. He delivers a catchable ball and is fresh as a daisy. Stafford is old as dirt. Purdy Brock I don't trust. Geno is good and starts the season better. However Dobbs is faster and younger and will probably be behind him in the pro bowl alternate looking at the conference. Kyler might not get his job back. Jonathan Gannon appears to be a bad coach. The defense gives up forty a game but Dobbs should look great scoring thirty.
If anyone was close to the situation they would know that kyler should come back week 6 to 8. They do need to evaluate him to see if he is the qb of the future and if he plays well, which he can, they won't be in the situation to draft first. Florio is a blowhard and don't listen to him. If Caleb wasn't a true competitor than he can go to another crappy team next year like the raiders, colts, Washington, Atlanta and flame out there. The cardinals would have beat the commanders by double digits if kyler was playing last week. Coaching matters and the cards defense played like their hair was in fire, mix that with good to better offense and you win most games. Seems like the whole "rookie contract" is illegal and unamerican. These fine young men (and womyn) Should be able to compete competitively against everyone else for their slice of cheese. Another example of plantation economics that needs to be swept away. Caleb should be able to demand his 40M / yr from the get go.
