@@KhouryNatalie Plenty of people can drink and have fun without being alcoholics. Maybe you're projecting? This child is already living a life most could only dream about. A quick perusal of your online presence reveals that all you seem to do is leave bad reviews for midwestern fast food restaurants, and put down online personalities that live adventurous lifestyles... Makes you seem like a jealous curmudgeon. Guess you had your fill of picking on Kara and Nate, and now you've moved on to the Delos crew. I feel sorry for the sad life you must live that makes you so crusty... I hope one day it gets better for you.
Local Legend Juan was a hella cool dude- was really nice of him to go out of his way to show you guys around, and we all got to benefit! Thanks for being awesome, Juan!
Whenever I travel, I always ask the locals where they like to eat. I've never been impressed with "5 Star Dining" and have always found more enjoyment at a waterside dive or out of the way family restaurant. The food is always amazing, the service is personal and joyful, the price is always reasonable and the quantities are huge. It is nice that Delos is able to "acquire" local guides/fans wherever they go.
When I first went to Isla & Cozumel in 1978, Cozumel was known as Houston Beach, because so many Houstonians hung out there. In New Orleans, there was a billboard near the airport that read, "Cancun This Afternoon". The flight was at 1pm and by 3pm you were laying on the beach. My favorite airplane flight ever was from Isla to Cozumel. As the plane approached Isla, I could see it had 3 tails. It was a Lockheed Constellation. It cost $10 for a 15 minute flight in one of the coolest airplanes ever built.
@@tgthorson51 I got that beat. ;-) In 1962, I flew on a Super Connie from Travis AFB, to Hawaii, to Midway Island, to Wake Island, to Guam, to the Philippines. The next day (on a different plane), I flew to Taiwan. Great plane, but after 25+ hours of flight time, listening to those 4 engines was brutal.
We are Canadian artists and have a house down the coast in Puerto Morelos just south of Cancun. It's a beautiful, ecologically protected village. We often go to Isla Mujeres and rent scooters. So fun to see you experiencing our second home, the amazing cenotes and incredible food. If u have time take an ADO bus or rent a car go to Valladolid. It's 2 hours inland from Cancun and is a small, exquisite Spanish city. Hotels are excellent and cheap. Galleries, restaurants, no crime, local markets and incredible architecture. there is a tour of a massive Mexican art collection in a home near the town square. Over 3000 pieces of some of the best Mexican art we have seen. We travel all over to buy art for our house in Pt. Morelos. Happy trails guys! xoxox
So nice to see mister Brady's face for a small second. It would be so so so nice of Alex and Brady came on board for a period of time. Really miss those guys!!
I married into a Mexican family, a rather large one actually. I'm from the midwest, caucasian, and I experienced the family life like never before. I loved Mole on anything. So many mornings with fresh tortillas. Frijoles, eggs, chorizo, breakfast like never before. I've been in so many restaurants, they are uncountable actually. But those home cooked meals back in Nuevo Mexico, they were by far the best. Especially when you start out with one before you begin your day. Great video again Brian, Karen, Nugget, and Taylor. Great meet up with Juan. I miss those days myself. By the way, I've had many 'exotic' foods that are so called Mexican, or Spanish, but yet it's really their simplest presentations which I always truly loved. Shrimp tacos were one of them also! Almost anything 'taco' style I was happy with.
In her little sailing life, I`m guessing Sierra hasn`t had much “up close and personal” time with animals so that`s probably why she was so intrigued with the turtles - they are special!
As a tried and true Canuk myself, it was such a pleasure to hear the phrase @ 4:16 "Pretty Friken nice EH!?" LOVE it Well Done. Hoist that Red and White on Delos! :)
Nice to see the beautiful Taylor back on the water again. I first met her when she joined NautiDogs a few years back. Shame it caught fire, as that was one beautiful ship. Also saw Taylor's own sailing channel, with her and her mum sailing down the ICW, before her engine blew up. She's clearly a good fit on Delos. Looking forward to the rest of Taylor's stay on Delos.
It's people like Juan who are worthwhile in this world, willing to help simply for the pleasure of providing good times for others. It's people like Brian and Karen who are worthwhile in this world for the humility and kindness they show, and that's why life crosses them with the Juans of this world.
"Land Ho" is such an awesome callout no matter who does it but Kazza yours is the best! Such a joyous sound! Enjoyed the show...many memories....1st time on Isla Mujeres we got caught in a storm on a hobie from Cancun...5 and 6 footers weren't in the forecast according to the guy who rented the boat to my brother. They weren't to nice to us. The wind shred the sails, sat in irons for what seemed like an eternity as we just got beat to a pulp. I remember probably the most violent jib we ever did, 5 or 6 more waves under the boat and calm when we got into the lee near south beach....I m alive!!! The operator wasn't happy about the sails or the tackle being damaged...we weren't real happy he sent us out into a storm but since we came within inches of flipping and a complete disaster, we weren't complaining. (Oh lesson learned don't rely on locals for your forecast)

Isla Mujeres is beautiful! The Turtle Sanctuary! So happy the people on the island are helping the sea turtles. They’re so magnificent. The food! Those shrimp tacos were making my mouth water! And the Cerveche! 😋 Best of all as usual, Sierra’s beautiful disposition and smile. I’m so glad that she was in a car seat on the golf cart. Great video. Thank you Delos. ♥️

I am so sad I missed y’all! I’ve been following y’all for several years and we went in June. June 21-27. And I missed your live while y’all was there. I am glad y’all enjoyed the island. We stayed the first time on the south end at a wonderful house called Isla Casa. Then this last time stayed on Playa Norte. Next time we plan on staying back on south end bc the beaches was so packed. Maybe I will run into y’all eventually. Love Isla Mujeres. We’ve been to Mexico 25-30 times. I feel just like you Brian. I could eat Mexican food the rest of my life. Safe travels :)
Good to see all having a good time and good to see they are not 'too' covid crazy down there and let ppl have a good time. Had to Lol seeing another 'Senior Frog's'! I swear Mexico must have a hundred or more of those things! Lol.
I so agree with Brian, Mexican food all the way. Thank you for taking us on this tour with you. Looks like a very touristy place, but nothing wrong with good food and a wonderful beach.
I could see her, in her mid 20's telling her dad that she bought a sailboat and is going to re-trace his footsteps around the world. The fear that would come over his face, knowing she is like Uncle Brady...LOL!
Having followed Taylor to your channel I am enjoying it very much. Your sailing knowledge and explanations are great. Im sure having followed Taylor from being with Boddy on Sailing Doodles and her own channel that you will find her more than able to handle the boat and take care of Nugget to give you both a well-deserved break from time to time. Binge-watching now to catch up after which I will probably come on board as a pateron.

Excellent episode that gave me the Delos stoke and there wasn't even any sailing in it. Just good people having a good time! And who doesn't love a good taco?
Love the turtle farm, we took our son Wally there when he was a little older then Sierra, he loved it as well. He is 17 now so seeing the place brings back wonderful memories

It’s been great to see that The Canadian flag has made it up your mast. Love you guys and your family.
But not the American flag.
Fridays are ready good days, but the SV Delos crew always makes them better. Thanks for the videos guys
Stoked to watch 80 degrees North!!! Cheers from Prudhoe Bay, AK Deadhorse.
Another great video. Fun on the quarantined boat and the food looked great.
So totally brilliant to have the Delos Theme Tune back. I will be watching more regularly again. Looks like Delos got its classic mojo back...
Oh, man they have a Senior Frogs there!! Thats awesome! I have a frequent flyer pass at the one in San Felipe.
I just watched332 EP. In 2 weeks and wow the History Channel needs to pick your channel up like asap this is hands down the best show on tv and the internet! I can't believe I finished all the episodes and wanting more.. Clearwater Beach Florida supports you!🍸🍹🍺🍻👍💪👊
So glad you all get along well together, l was going to ask why the Canadian flag had not been unfurled, the three of you have really mastered the jibe, lm quite impressed, enjoy Mexico tacos & the margaritas 🤪 🇬🇧
Why not an American flag alongside the others? Isn't the captain an American?
Sailing SV Delos …. On the hook for the weekend here on beautiful Lake Greers Ferry. Counting down the days until our trip to Isla Mujeros. I’ve followed your Chanel for years and love your outstanding videos!
I'm digging the old style intro. Great episode.
