Cassius he was referring to cap and Tony’s argument in the first avengers. They were both wrong about each other. Cap said tony would make the sacrifice play and tony said everything special about cap came from a bottle. And they were both wrong. These stories are so amazing it’s not even funny. I believe they will be passed down like fairy tales hundreds of years from now.
I loved that moment, but I feel like it was a slightly wasted opportunity for a little bit of comic book-esque banter between Thanos and Cap. "So long as one of us stands in your way...you haven't won."
I love the the chemistry between Cap and Iron. And what i also admire about them is that they have both proved the other wrong, when they were verbally abusing each other. Cap showed everyone that he is much more than a lab experiment by being able to lift mjolnir. And Iron man showed the universe that he is the actual hero and not just the selfish millionaire by sacrificing himself for them.
I love how their arcs invert. Tony went from selfish to selfless. Cap went from selfless to a bit selfish. You need a balance of both. None is healthy alone.

And part of being a soldier seems to be following the orders of your general and superiors. But I might not be understanding that correctly, I don’t know all the details of being soldiers.
Cap didn’t care about tony at all. Nat yes but Tony no. He only used him as a resource as Tony had all the answers. I mean him and Bucky literally beat him and left him on a remote island knowing he had no way to get back. That would be fair for enemies but they were friends and to spit in his face even more Cap knew Bucky killed Tony’s parents and had the audacity to hit him with a shield his father made. Cap was just as egotistical as Tony but hid it as righteousness.

But if they really didn’t care about each other Steve could have killed him in Civil War with his shield as much as Tony could have killed him when he had the perfect shot, and he had many. When Tony died, Cap cried because he lost a friend and a resourceful man. Their friendship was just different. Both of them are driven, they are kind of the same.

While cap is a person who tries to protect the world and his loved one in any ways possible altough he's not the strongest
Both are best but cap proved himself capable of being called a hero
