My favourite country in Asia. Can’t be beat food wise and the people are amazing.
the food and people are always amazing!!
The food is great!
yeah but the food in langakawi suck big time
Langkawi actually gets more visitors than most resort island in the Philippines and Indonesia. Its only gets less visitors compared to Thailand. So its one of the top 5 vacation spots in Asia currently.
It's a great island to visit :)
The sound of clicking noise you heard in the jungle is not Sakuras, it called Cicadas. Not sure Sakuras is, what we know Sakura is flowers blossoming during Spring time particularly in Japan. 😅 and the birds you heard is Hornbill , another native bird in Langkawi other than the famous Red Eagles where the Langkawi name is origin from. 'Lang' or 'Helang' is Malay language for Eagle, and Kawi is Pyrolusite or wire stone which is red in colour.
Thanks for the info! That's what I was trying to say I just have terrible pronunciation 😂
My wife a I are coming to Asia in January and February for the first time. Langkawi is one of our destinations. Thank you for sharing and love your videos!!
_Terima kasih_ Thanks for visiting malaysia all the way from brighton 👍 Glad you had a good enjoyable time in langkawi despite one or two glitches
Your trip was back during _puasa/raya_ (ramadhan/aidilfitri) and it's now another _raya_ celebration ie. _raya haji_ (aidil adha) in conjunction with the hajj in mecca (in malaysia _raya haji_ is celebrated on thursday while here in the UK muslims celebrate it a day earlier tomorrow!)
If you do come again to malaysia towards the end of the year, note that it'll be the rainy season, and when malaysians say it's raining, we mean it _really_ rains! 😂 What you have here in the UK (that I have experienced so far at least) are mostly what we say _hujan renyai_ (drizzles), mostly light drizzles and some heavier drizzles, plus only two or three times of medium heavy rain.
In malaysia when it rains you won't see pigs in the sky, but you'd get cats and dogs! 😂 Plus roaring thunder and flashing lightning!
So year end, not advisable for you to travel on a motorcycle, not advisable to go to the islands or to take boats, and not advisable for mountain trekking and big waterfalls.
But KL has plenty of big shopping malls, not only for shopping, but also for variety of affordable tasty food including at the food courts, for cinemas and bowling, for ig spots/moments, for decor and live performances (cultural etc) sometimes, for aquaria in klcc, for ice skating in sunway pyramid, or even for some roller coaster rides in berjaya times square.
If you need simple raincoats they have cheap ponchos in daiso (the japanese shop where each item is only about 6 ringgit) and if you're not too rough on them they'll last your whole trip
So beautiful beach. Have fun guys!
We will!
Thanks for sharing! I haven't watched many videos about Malaysia outside of Kuala Lumpur. We are hoping to save up enough points over the next year to go to Thailand. We didn't quite have enough this year so we decided to go to Costa Rica instead.
Great video! Haha loved your reaction to the noise “it sounds like a pig in the sky” 😂
I love the quality of your audio, please keep going!
Will do! Thank you so much, 😊 it’s something we are always try to improve!
I am a Malaysian,
I also experienced the same thing as you this place is really safe from Crime and vehicle theft compared to other places in Malaysia.
It’s great to see! We loved Langkawi! 😊
Love your content Joel & Amelia! I’m planning a trip around SE Asia and I’ve been making my way through all of your videos - they’re so useful! Appreciate you explaining things so well and including the costs - keep up the great work! ❤️
So beautiful!!!!! Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings from Sabah ❤ east Malaysia.
We hoping to visit Sabah in August! 😊
You two are adorable! Fun travels together!
Thanks for posting this. I'm travelling there next week
The sound of the pig in the sky is a hornbill 😊
Give you the 400th like. I am going there next month!
🇲🇾❤️❣️
though it's true that the end of Ramadhan is usually the busiest time for most Malaysian because of the Eid celebration, but the holiday is usually spent with family and friends. it's like Thanksgiving for Americans, but a lot more cultural, definitely (no offence lol).
Ahah I’m not American 😂 everyone seemed like they were having a great time! 😊
The waterfall is called Telaga Tujuh(seven waterfalls). On top of the waterfall there's a secluded spot the small beautiful lagoon. If you really love tropical islands do visit the islands on the east coast like Pulau Perhentian, Tioman with beautiful clear crystal water 🏝* the end of the year (Nov-Feb) is monsoon raining season in Malaysia 🌧
I love langkawi ❤
muslims dont normally travel for leisure in Ramadan. but it will be busy for the next 2 weeks from Eid (day after the end of Ramadan)
Have u guys heard about Pulau Payar Marine Park in Langkawi? Surprisingly not many foreign vloggers visited this place.
Oh no we haven't, we will have to check that out next time!
Pretty exiting !!!
Really enjoying watching your videos whilst on the search for our Honeymoon Destinations this August! Although, could do with your advice! We're English and Initially wanted to do Singapore, Bali and Langkawi multi centre - but seems this might be too much indirect flying for us for a Honeymoon! So would you choose Langkawi or Bali for Honeymoon if you had to choose? What has more romantic vibes, what's cleaner, friendlier, better private excursions etc? Fiance bit worried Bali is more for when we go travelling, back-packery everywhere? Thanks so much!
I’m doing a trip to Malaysia and love your videos! Do you recommend Langkawi? I only have 8 nights so was going to do 3 in Penang and 5 in KL but could do 2 in Langkawi!
the most visitors in Langkawi is on November and December since it is school break
It's a Muslim country so always worth having a sarong in a bag to cover up just to show respect to the country we visiting and the locals 😊
Joel can you recommend any apps or point me to a video you've made with one in it that might be similar to city mapper but in South East Asia?
Glad ur bike okay.. which id more scary the cable car or the bike stolen?😂
The natural slide you are talking about is above the waterfall, not below it. Not many swim below the waterfall
Oh really? AHH no that's annoying we will have to go back!
✌️😁🇲🇾♥️🏴🇬🇧
Among April and November which will be good time to visit Langkawi?
To be honest, never heard anyone talk about worms or leeches at the falls. Btw, leeches are big, not tiny like that
Hello , please do you recommend visiting malaysia and langkawi in September its the only time i have
was the drone allowed in Langkawi? Appreciate if you could reply soon. Im leaving to Malaysia tomorrow.
I never been there I really want to go there but need to find some fiends first beacuse I don't anything
You can do this trip with a jetski!
From where did you rent the scooter ?
in which month did you visit and how hot it was?
hey was wondering do you need a motorbike license to go around langkawi?
Left the key at the motorcycle and no one steal the motorcycle.
That's speak a lot about Langkawi.
Eid was over a month ago
Yep, my videos are always quite far behind :)
'Sounds like a Pig in the sky' Dead 😂😂😂
Hello ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello 😊
“sounds like a pig in the sky” hahahaha
flying pigs hey, crazy animals!
Go to sabah
We are visiting sabah later this year
I was there, nice people but very dirty
All tourists are prohibited from wearing bikinis in Langkawi and I am surprised these bloggers could get away with that
This is not true, it’s completely legal to wear a bikini’s in Langkawi :)
@@Joelfriend Try it again and see what will happen then
Ahaha, look up the rules bro 🤣 Malaysia is not run on sharia law neither is it a rule in the constitution. Have an awesome day! 🙏🏼
Brother. You gotta do a collaboration with CEO of testosterone. Would be classic.
You'll never find this cheap fees entry not in the States anywhere else
Malaysia! I'm hoping this means we can expect some more Malaysia content from you? 👀🤞🏼
I am from Malaysia, the Malaysia Government and Malaysia Royal Police work closely with Myanmar Military / Junta that are killing everyone in Myanmar. Malaysian government is helping people kidnap innocent people and torturing them until they die. Please help raise awareness, google Malaysia abductions and youll see that these cases go cold because the Malaysian police are doing these crimes. This month a woman, her husband, and three CHILDREN have been missing for 4 weeks!! I dont know her but this has raised many questions in my city and everyone wants to leave Malaysia. Please do your research before coming here, foreigners are targets in Malaysia and its sad because soon nobody will come to our country!
Nipu kuat menatang ni
Are you German ?
We can’t wait to visit this place... but we need to know if you got the worm out of your foot!
ahaha yes we did! :) Enjoy Malaysia!
