Does this make you TWO Custom Joe?? Phenomenal review brother, I am in love with that model. One day I will snag myself one. I love the thick bushing and recessed crown.
Got word one of my new nighthawks just shipped. Think you’ll enjoy when you see it. Love that blacked out look. Nighthawk just does it right. Keep kickin ass brother
"light rails"--I think some gun guys downplay the value of having a light rail on their 1911's. Those guys will say they want a classic 1911 (no optic mount and no light rail).....But having a light r just give su the option of adding alittle weight at the front under the barrel...e.g. Surefire X300 Ultra 4oz...why not? :) And...you get a LIGHT :)) So many practical reasons to have a light...even on a 1911....light allows you to temporarily blind the threat giving you a few seconds on him...or, make him drop his gun...ending the "fight"....allowing us not to have to fire a round--easiler to explain to the LEO that shows up.... Things I'd do to MY GRP Recon---stippling on the top of slide/front/rear checkering...."blued finish"....Turnbull (I'm guessing Nighthawk can h ave this done if we ask for it).....and walnut wood grips with textgure (hate smooth grips)...and the IOS :)
05:53 - haha, love the passioned annoyance! I agree - I've seen many who whine about the grip safety but I'm not sure how they grip their guns if they fail to initiate it. All models I've held only needs like 1mm of actuation for the safety to disengage. I find it difficult to mess up *on purpose*.
I can't remember who I watched going on and on about the percentage of grip safety. My platoon & I didn't know anything about 1911s when we were trained on them in boot camp yet all of us were able to fire WW2 era 1911s all day. The grip safety wasn't an issue. UA-camrs make mountains out of mole hills
@@JoeFromTheAfternoon I just watched some of your videos on him yesterday. Sadly too many UA-cam reviewers are garbage. Where did you get those alchemy emblem grips from? Looking for a set for my DLC Quantico. I just checked your ACW Quantico video, where you mention the source. Thanks for sharing!
VZ Grips. Find whatever grips that you want, and then send an email to VZ grips about wanting to get them customized. They do laser engraving for like an extra $50 or so. Make sure you get permission from ACW first before utilizing their trademark emblem. I simply sent an email to Eli at ACW and asked them and they sent me a high resolution Image to use.
If you see this comment a month later, I wish you could aid me in making a personal decision regarding which pistol to purchase next. I have a few NHC’s that are great, but I’m looking at broadening my collection and adding an ACW Quantico. My guns are shooters and carried almost daily. Would you recommend one pistol/brand, NHC vs ACW, over the other? (Third World problems I know)
I love my ACW Quantico with a passion. It’s my favorite 1911 by far. And it’s simply because the aesthetics. Both companies offer amazing customer support. Both companies make a top quality pistol. Both companies pistols perform exceptionally. I do not recommended one over the other because they are equivalent in my opinion. The only difference is style / looks. Which only you can decide. If you do get a Quantico, you won’t be disappointed.
@@JoeFromTheAfternoon I appreciate it. ACW’s new Quantico Carry reminds me of their sister company’s option, the Cabot Nero. I think from the research I’ve done and your affirmation of ACW throughout your encounters and conversations with them, it will be my next purchase. Keep up the good work!!!
@@millerman9178 oh yes. That carry looks amazing. Eli over there is a great dude and will take care of you no doubt. When I first saw it I too immediately thought of the Nero. I think it’s an excellent choice.
Honestly, I like them equally. I really regret getting rid of the Wilson. This gun reminds me so much of it that it’s the reason why I purchased it to begin with.
Excellent video Joe!! Thank you for sharing and we hope you're enjoying that Enforcer!
That’s a work of Art. If I could only have 1 pistol, this would be the one.

What’s my second custom? The ACW is not a true custom 1911 🤣
Two custom Joe doesn’t have the same ring to it. He needs to remain One Custom Joe regardless of how many not true customs he owns.

I saw a small feature of it. It looks 🤤. Looking forward to your review brother! Glad to see your new content. It’s always a pleasure
Awesome videos bro. I just got in the 1911. I have the prodigy 4.25 and it's got me into the 1911 models. Great review.
U have a lot of beautiful 1911’s. Very nice collection 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I’m a big fan of round top serrations myself.
I’m a big fan of your product in general
Beautiful pieces!

Cool gun, good review. Thanks!

Dang! Nice pistol sir.🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
So, is the slide not flat topped, just serrated? People offer it, but very rare folks order it.
Which adapter did you use to fasten your light to the rail? The universal (U) or picatinny (P)?

Would you get this or a Les Baer??
