You know, in all talks of things KH-related, no one ever brings the ideas Coded presents about how data connected to other worlds allows memories related to the data come into the journal, and the possibility that anything with a collection of memories seems to act similar to a Heart.
I stand by this being worth the watch for one very important moment, just the delivery on the lines by Jesse, "You say you accept it? It's not a game! It's way past time that you learned what REAL HURT FEELS LIKE!"
A small clarification on my comment, the Recoded story is actually really good, just probably less engaging then the rest of the games (and doesn't help the fact the Disney worlds should have been cut at the start) but despite this, it's a very important basis for lots of crucial plotpoints. This game is just filled with foreshadowings and it's great.
@@Fannintendociccio1 The problem is it objectively ISN'T a good story. At least not in the sense of anything actually mattering. The entirety of the data Sora situation happens DURING the ending cutscene of KH2, between when riku and sora return to the islands, and when they open the letter from Mickey. Real world Sora didn't experience a single thing in the entirety of the game. Mickey and co. just watched it all happen and then wrote a letter to Sora telling him what they learned, which was almost entirely insignificant in all honesty. The entire exchange with data roxas and data Sora is completely meaningless and devoid of all emotional impact because it didn't actually happen to them, it happened to data that no longer exists. Since roxas wasn't really there, his "pain" literally doesn't matter. It didn't actually exist. The only things that are actually relevant to the main characters happen AFTER you complete the game, which is dumb. I'm only a few minutes in. Hoping Leigh stays on board for the rest of the series. This is where I started liking the series less, which saddens me because I LOVE everything before this game. I'm hoping she can still laugh at the stuff introduced from here onward, and doesn't stop having fun with it.
It’s funny that as far as I remember, in A Goofy Movie and the show, the stuff Pete does isn’t ever really evil, just being a jerk at worst, and he’s Goofy’s friend who shares barbequeues and his fancy hot tub with, and in this, his selfish but harmless scheme to become popular in Birth By Sleep led Queen Minnie to eternally banish him to the Phantom Zone, until he is rescued from purgatory by Maleficent and owes her
358/2 and Birth By Sleep are really tough to get through because even though they they are parts of the story, they’re core plot lore is telling tragic tales about two other groups of friends that all end up in bad places, but tragedy is a two way road because you can either do what Riku did and try to become a better person because of the tragedy you cause and then have to face or you end up in a worse place because it’s all you know from that point. You need to be prepared to know that the next two games are going to hurt and I mean they’re going to hit hard with hurt
Riku is like the sun I always wanted, I'm not going to lie to you guys he is just a sweetheart he is so adorable a lot of people judged him just by his attitude from the first game but let me tell you what he would not have been that way if it weren't for protecting the ones he loved in the process :-) 💜 I mean sure he was trying to seek adventure too but he was doing both in the process it's like light and darkness you can't have one without the other :-)

Leigh in Re Coded : MICKEY IT'S RIKU THEY PUT BUGS IN HIM
the kh experience
I vividly remember the first time I opened up Re:Coded and was like 'Oh, its just a neat way to do a recap.' smash cut to me on the floor bawling
Another Leigh video, this makes me happy
People may hate the story for recoded but the gameplay in the original is amazing and the ending hit likes a tonne of bricks. It's mad how great that whole last segment is when the rest was a rehash of KHI xD
They made some weird decisions with Re:coded. I do want to play the DS game some time though, it looks fun. And Data Sora is a very good boy.
for me Coded is the opposite of 358. Fun gameplay and mechanics but very thin story wise. While 358 is the opposite.
@@sonicjr53 Days gets a bit of an edge for me. Liked the story and while nearly every boss sucks ass until the end but the level system was fine. Coded was just doing too much with the gameplay and too little with the story. Data Darkside was cool though.
@@thespectaculargamernerd8114 I actually really hate Days' leveling compared to Coded, which just has the Sphere Grid from FFX. It's just the sphere grid.
@@northwindkey I think by "level system" they meant the mission structure but I could be mistaken
Ah yes, Re:Coded, the Kingdom Hearts game that..............exists.
Joking aside, yay another video ^.^ ! And merry Christmas Leigh !
Can't wait to see the rest of her kingdom hearts journey
@LeighXP Love all your KH play throughs!! I seriously cannot wait for you to start Kingdom Hearts 3! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Its 10:40am on Christmas Day where I am. Best present ever. Thank you
You have no clue how much I look forward to your Kingdom Hearts vids!
No kidding, this is actually my favorite game of the franchise along with KH III because I secretely feel like it's the saddest game, but also the funnest game of the Franchise (with KH III of course) and I love this game with my heart even if its story isn't the best
Oh man the DDD video next is gonna be wild ahaha, I can’t wait
Merry Christmas thank you for this. It was even funnier a second time!
This is the best Christmas present from Leigh :D
Next month will be the first time, I look dream drop distance, because of you. I like to see your painful face when anything sad is happens in the series😅💗
I have to say, from a purely gameplay standpoint, Recoded is one of my favorites in the series lol
This connected a lot of things! Wow, never really played this game that much so I never got really far in it, so now I kinda see how the other ones connect through this game in a certain way! Love it when you put this videos out as always! :)
I like how in the thumbnail, now she’s like confusion intensifies, for that specific game it’s really fitting xD ! Love your journey through thoses games !!
Kingdom Hearts Re:Confusion
YES THIS IS MY FAVORITE UA-cam SERIES
Kingdom hearts in a nutshell: "Uhh sorry you kinda lost me there-" "Shhhh it's okay, you don't have to understand. Just mash X."
I'm happy to be able to watch this a little before Christmas ! And so Merry Christmas to you and your family Leigh thanks for this gift and may your heart be your guiding key my dear ! c: Your reaction are so precious too !
I'm only a few minutes in. Hoping Leigh stays on board for the rest of the series. This is where I started liking the series less, which saddens me because I LOVE everything before this game. I'm hoping she can still laugh at the stuff introduced from here onward, and doesn't stop having fun with it.
It’s funny that as far as I remember, in A Goofy Movie and the show, the stuff Pete does isn’t ever really evil, just being a jerk at worst, and he’s Goofy’s friend who shares barbequeues and his fancy hot tub with, and in this, his selfish but harmless scheme to become popular in Birth By Sleep led Queen Minnie to eternally banish him to the Phantom Zone, until he is rescued from purgatory by Maleficent and owes her
I didn't expect another one so soon, Merry Christmas
I loved every minute of this! Thanks for all the laughs and the cries. :)
Dang I love Riku's theme. It's so beautiful yet tragic... fits the character really well I guess
Love how the book looks like Riku because it kins him. The book is a Riku kinny. What a icon.
Appreciate the Christmas Eve upload, thanks bud.
Barely two minutes in and your brain is breaking, I love it
best christmas gift! omg i cant wait for your reaction to ddd
Christ on the cross this game is wild. I only played the main number KH games and this one has been
a RIDE and I'm only 5 minutes in.
24:35 damn I don't remember the plan on Xigbar eye with what Young Xehanort said, it feels so different now
Ahh yes, the hurt.... Every time I hear that word I get Vietnam flashbacks. Lol
Love your videos. Very glad your playing my favorite game series of all time
This is what quality assurance teams go through every day.
Great birthday surprise to wind down to! Happy holidays everyone!
I love tgat she’s wearing a yuyu hakusho shirt. She looks kinda young so the fact that she knows an old classic warms my hearts.
Riku is like the sun I always wanted, I'm not going to lie to you guys he is just a sweetheart he is so adorable a lot of people judged him just by his attitude from the first game but let me tell you what he would not have been that way if it weren't for protecting the ones he loved in the process :-) 💜 I mean sure he was trying to seek adventure too but he was doing both in the process it's like light and darkness you can't have one without the other :-)
Merry Chrysler to you too Leigh
Say what you want about this game, but at 15:39 where Data-Roxas lays down the gauntlet, you feel that! Even as a digital construct, Roxas just can't catch a break.
This is where you need to react to all of the handheld/PC games now before 3.
I'm not happy to see someone cry, per se, but I love to see how much this series means to you.
That DDD experience can't come any sooner
