- Sky News host James Morrow believes California Governor Gavin Newsom will be “licking his chops” after Joe Biden’s “unfortunate performance” in the first presidential debate.
The first debate between US President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump has concluded in Atlanta.
“It was a sad - it was an unfortunate performance from him,” Mr Morrow told Sky News Australia.
“Gavin Newman, I think, will be licking his chops with what he saw tonight.
“He is an obvious next step.”
No ones voting for Gavin. I live in California it’s a complete mess.
People here still love him. It’s scary.

I could not agree more. After 40 years living here, Newsom turned our state upside down in his short time. The crime, drugs, schools and taxes makes it unbearable to be here. Sadly, I can’t leave due to my business. I’m sure many more would have left but are in my same shoes. Thank god my kids are out of school now and don’t need to listen to anymore garbage.

However, it was the $20/hr min wage hike that's doing them in. They have to pay EVERYONE working in a restaurant a minimum of $20/hr. That includes dishwashers.
What's funny though, his that one of his biggest contributors, the owner of Panera Bread, got him to exempt bakeries from this wage hike.
Not only was it a cheap political stunt but it was corrupt as hell. Thousands of restaurants closed after that law went into effect, because the owners would otherwise operate at a loss and close anyway. He literally just killed tens of thousands of jobs at the stroke of a pen, while patting himself on the back...But only for the little people and not his buddy.

Certainly, Biden's performance at the debate tonight was marginal but I actually expected worse. At least he did not act like he had left planet Earth nor did he walk off the debate stage. Biden's speak is not fluent because of his age and his lack of creating cohesive thoughts to the questions asked. It is clear that he is in an advanced dementia. This guy belongs in a skilled care facility rather on a debate stage running for re-election. Trump was controlled but had he had been given more time he would have ripped Biden to shreds.
