    Today I am very excited to collaborate with my beautiful friend Shana @smelly skin to talk about what we each consider to be the best and worst products of the entire Biologique Recherche facial line!
    Shana's video: • BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE |...
    Shana's channel: / smellyskin
    Shana and I have different skin types and we each used only Biologique Recherche products for years, so we thought it would be helpful for others to know what our experience was like with different BR products. Since I have moved on to other brands, I no longer have many of these products on hand, but I did use each product for an extended amount of time.

      Hi Olga! That's a very good point! I did have a couple of consultations with BR aestheticians while I was using their products, but unfortunately some products they recommended still didn't work out for me. I wish they did! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! ❤️

    I have mixed skin and I loved Lait VIP 02 , my skin is soo soft and refreshing. Mask Vivant smells terrible, but works great for my skin. The best cream is Iso-placenta, my skin is soft, glowy, healthy, my dark spots disapear.

    I am feeling very thankful I've never gone all in on a skincare brand. I've always had bits and bobs and when I started working at Sephora I just got a mishmash of things (which is its own can of worms). I am actually really excited to be buying skincare now that I've gone through my gratis! I know you've recommended the P50 to me before I still need to try it!

    • @bornblushing
      @bornblushing  Рік тому +1

      That is certainly the better way to go about it! One huge lesson I learned from this experience with Biologique Recherche is to detach myself from brands and see products just as they are regardless of the story the brand is selling me. P50 is the superhero product of this line and the only product I would recommend. I wish the 1970 version was available in Canada! Thank you for always watching and commenting on my videos bebe! 🥰

    Just found your channel and really love your videos! I have some BR products I truly love but I agree with you on many and the marketing. I always use the spay, the hydrating milky cleaner and p50. I also endo the adn metamorphique and MSRH cremes but everything else was a complete waste of money. IMO. You convince yourself it’s doing something though bc of the Marketing. Having said that, I’m 44 and my skin doctor tells me my skin is extremely healthy and elastic for my age so maybe it was 🤪

    • @bornblushing

      Hi Nic! Thanks so much! I'm so glad you found my channel. I agree with your choices there. I went through so many bottles of L'eauxygenante, and I did enjoy a couple of their creams. I have been trying different options to P50 since filming this video, and I find I'm not missing it (although I only ever used the versions available in Canada, which I imagine pale in comparison to the ones available elsewhere!). The serums were a total waste of money for me! That's fantastic that your dermatologist gave you that feedback about your skin. That's the dream for all of us! x

  • @makeda3175
    @makeda3175 Рік тому +2

    VIP O2 line is all hype to me. The cleanser isn’t worth the price. I agree it is not a have to get cleanser.
    Masque Vivant is not worth it. I used it frequently and it wasn’t necessary nor did nothing. Whatever glow people think they are having is the stain it leaves. Lol
    I realized the exfoliants does the heavy duty lifting for all the products.
    Dermo DL is great as a moisturizer.
    At the end of the day skin starts within especially with aged Glyca…within.
    The serums are either a hit or miss.
    Also some of the reviews are fake. Only shop rescue allows bad reviews.

    • @bornblushing
      @bornblushing  Рік тому +1

      I never understood the whole VIP O2 line! It almost seems gimmicky to me. And I also agree with you about Masque Vivant! P50 is definitely the superhero product that actually produces results. I never tried Dermo DL, but BR does offer some nice moisturizers. I had never considered fake reviews! It's very hard to find a negative review of BR products, so that doesn't surprise me!

    • @makeda3175
      @makeda3175 Рік тому +1

      @@bornblushing I had a shop decline my honest reviews so at that moment I was like….hmmmm…some of these reviews are lies. 🥴😂. It doesn’t give you a “glow” or that “just moisturized” look but it definitely repaired the skin barrier in where I needed it to be repaired. I think it is meant for dry skin but it worked well on my oily-combo skin.
      What I never understood was the mixing of serums to make it a cocktail. I don’t remember who said this or if it was the spa expert but at that very moment when they said that to me I knew it was BS. I lived in NYC too long to be scammed.😂

    • @bornblushing
      @bornblushing  Рік тому +1

      @@makeda3175 Oh wow! That's so bad. I always had a weird feeling about the endless 5 star reviews! It really did contribute to my whole journey with BR and me convincing myself that the products were amazing.
      I remember having the serums felt like such a treat at first. My very own BR counter in my bathroom - what a luxury! But that feeling faded very fast and then they just got seriously annoying to fiddle around with and use every day. I'm so glad I'm not stuck in the BR black hole of serums anymore. 😂 I wish I had been like you and paid better attention to my gut instincts in the beginning!

    • @makeda3175
      @makeda3175 Рік тому +1

      @@bornblushing lmfao!! Right?? They make you feel special. I only feel this now because I been scammed before sis! We all been scammed by marketing. 😂😂😂
      I’m still learning to not buy on emotion and fear. Now, I try to focus on value, efficiency, and maturity when selecting items.
      The claims of deodorized and non-deodorized ingredients also seem like BS. I had more moister in a $40 moisturize than a $200 one.
      Overall, luxury brand strategies(there is a book on it) are always more hype than anything else. ❤️❤️

      @bornblushing  Рік тому +1

      @@makeda3175 I love that! I'm on a very similar journey. As much as I love the luxury experience, I'm not deluded by a luxury price tag, so I try to find products that deliver in value, efficacy, and experience. It really is so much trial and error to find what works for us! ❤

    As a Biologique Recherche Expert for over 20 years, I found so many red flags in your video I am saddened by your review. One of the biggest flags is that you have rosacea and yet have tried ALL the serums in the BR line. The most foundational rule of BR is hyperpersonalization and with your specific issues most of these serums would never be recommended by a trained BR professional. It is critical that if you are reviewing a product it must be formulated for your individual requirements. I hope your viewers are informed enough to realize the limitations of your review. Please stay in your individual lane when it comes to
    Reviews if you are using your experience as the guide.

      @@bornblushingif that is the case I don’t understand why you would have tried “every” serum and products that were never intended for a
      Rosacea skin. I am just looking for transparency in your attempt to represent the brand’s efficacy.
