….miss this……my gosh…..just love Donald Ross…..did not know of him until these retro shows….wow…wish he was still around..he had a gentle kind of comedy….nice…😘💕
Patty Deutsch and Donald Ross are so funny together! Betty & Gene Barry were married for their entire adults lives, and they appear to be very in tune with each other.
The 'weight-lifter movie' Ross refers to was probably The 500 Pound Jerk, a 1973 TV movie starring former Detroit Lion Alex Karras as an Olympic weight lifter
Ehh, not really. They're not newlywed in most cases. This is 1974. Betty & Gene had been married since 1944, Patti & Donald since 1968, and Phyllis & Warde since 1965.
Yeah but when you aren't a celebrity, nobody really cares about how much of yourself you are willing to reveal. The only thing that made this show interesting is that we saw these people in movie and TV roles.

7 year run was very successful, for this CBS game show.
Fun fun funny
Betty Barry was in good spirits
Did you try hitting "play" above? Try it. You'll find out.
Phyllis and Warde divorced the following year.
I was shocked that she was on this show, because I didn't remember that she was married after her first divorce broke up!
Bananas?
@gameshowfan1998 Basically Newlywed Game w/ celebrities.
