These figures are beautiful and so is the packaging! I hope they keep it up and go deep with niche characters from the cartoon that we have not gotten in the Origins line. I hope you keep it up with the awesome reviews as well, Robo! Thank you, sir!
Eh, you were right about it being an Amazon shipping problem. I stopped buying 2 (1 to hold, 1 to open) from Amazon due to there incapability of shipping collectibles without completely destroying the packaging.
I've been holding off on MotU figures for a while because there just wasn't anything I was super interested in so this flew right under my radar. I just ordered all 4. Great review Robo!
I have these too and they are so much fun. Saw the Promo Shots of Teela and Trap-Jaw and they are looking fantastic. I like and collect Orgins too but man, this Cartoon Line is getting me more hyped as I thought it would.
The thing is I totally agree that the Club Grayskull/Super 7 versions are far superior . I am not really into visually 'squished down' figures. I prefer the Club Grayskull versions .. the line that ended too quickly and was never completed..
That intro with the dragon was good Robo... It took me back to the original animated series... I like these figures but still have to buy them... I have all the 5" and Classics Filmation that Super 7 made so I want these to continue the Filmation Saga.😀💡👍
Instead of using glue on the blister cards they should do like the Kulu Toys skeletons and just have plastic flaps that hold the cardboard on. Then you can slide the card out, remove the figure then put the pack back together for keeping, if you're into that.
So I picked up Trap Jaw here in Australia because he's my favourite. I kept him on card. Then I saw your video. Then I went and bought the rest. Got HM, Skeletor, Teela, Beastman, Mer-Man, Stratos... got MAA, Adam/Cringer, Evil Lyn on the way. Almost an instant collection and while they'll do more, it's a line where I probably don't need to go deep (although I likely will, seeing Mantenna revealed at SDCC just now... and Catra... and Ram Man and MEF...). I got the majority of the MOTUC line but didn't get many Filmation, just HM, Skelly and Evilseed... I just couldn't rebuy everyone again even though the cartoon was my first love and I grew up wishing the 80s figures LOOKED like the cartoon more. And now they do. 40 years of waiting and I almost skipped these, but damn they bring back that 80s toy feel with modern improvement. Thanks for your video Robo!
Dude c'mon ... is this the most gloriously colorful and perfect thumbnail you've ever created?🥰 Sucks you in like a Kirby salesman of old Outstanding 🏆
The colors, specifically on He-Man and Beast Man are my only nitpick about these figures - though I've only picked up He-Man so far. Beast Man isn't nearly red enough, and He-Man's trunks and boots are straight-up BROWN. But from what I can see, Skeletor and Duncan have spot-on colors.
If you have the Origins 40th Anniversary He-Man 4 Pack then you can switch out the He-man chest harness. The one in the 40th Anniversary is more of the gray we all remember. I like it better on this new Filmation He-Man. The metallic blue harness is now on the 40th Anniversary because....well, it's an anniversary figure, he should have metallic parts.
Excellent review, in which you clearly highlight the positive points of this new range. It's not perfect (I would have liked bigger feet and a little longer shins) but still very close to the character design filming, especially in terms of the faces. Ok it's not as accomplished as the Club grayskull (especially in terms of proportions), but for a guy like me who starts a motu collection quite late, these figurines are excellent. I already have he-man and beast-man, and I'm waiting for skeletor as well as man-at-arms... This will be an opportunity for me to later create a diorama dedicated to these figurines. I would have gone crazy if I had them as a kid 😁, so I hope the range continues (for my part the next one should be Teela, which also seems very successful 🤟)
If I had these as a kid I would be in He-man heaven! I remember always asking myself and everyone I knew “Why do the figures look so different than the cartoon characters”. This line completes me
Between this and Turtles of Grayskull Mattel totally got my number in 2024. This line? Swallow you whole. A little shaking, a little tenderizing. Down I go.
YAY!!! Robo Knows MOTU!!! Finally! Now if we could get ya over your flocking issue, lol. I'm gonna say this about the glue thing... I open and review too and it would suck for the sake of the video, but I also want to use the cards for a future art project, so it coming off easily would be nice... it's a glitch that I like as a feature lol. Great review Duder. Your content is the bar I strive for. Keep being awesome.
Seeing figures like this makes me think ok now do every Hanna barbera figure to this standard. Same way Jada Chester makes me think ok Jada now do every Warner brothers cartoon character.
I thought I only needed the Skeletor, but man... your excitement and enjoyment forced (yes, forced!) me to buy the Beast Man and He-man figures too. I already ordered the Man at Arms, but I'm gonna try putting the Turtles of Grayskull MAA armor on it so he can be taller than the turtles hahaha. But I might take Skeletor with me to work tomorrow as my pocket figure, just cause I love it so much and it makes my coworkers think I'm even more weird than they already think I am
The skull pokes out because it shares tooling with the deluxe version that sold on Mattel Creations with swappable skulls. I think they glued it in here but it was designed to be swapped. The expressive versions also look better at a distance because his mouth is open on the anxious/happy face.
Oh! And I highly recommend getting a WWE Superstars Macho Man. His skintone almost perfectly matches He-Man and he has 6 or 8 hands that that this He-Man doesn't have. Plus you get a purple robe that fits these figures.
I did. I may do a review, but I'm also thinking about doing a big Vader Battle, see which is my favorite. Or both. Or neither. I need to get it open one way or another, haha.
@@RoboDontKnow ....It's the exact same height as the Storm Trooper, you YOURSELF even said that Marvel Legends and Classified aren't true six-inch scale in the video whereas Black Series is. So even by your own logic it's six-inch scale and I don't know why you're insisting it isn't.
Not exact inspired by the cartoon the beastman for me is worst i like the skeletor if a little light .. like the review very creative 😅 love the bone throne origin cats might work
Nice review, but you did forget to mention that Beastman's feet have lines, like the classical fur boots, even though they might be the same as Skeletor'. Maybe not all copies have the same "mistake", but I have seen a few like that so...
Does Mattel not realise tha English in an international language? Put english text tback in your internationally shipped figures' mini-comics. Or at least print a QR code where people can read a version in the language of their choice. It's not difficult to sort this shit out.
I dont like how the plastic feels. I like the weight and gloss of the old ones better. They had a slightly softer rubber feel versus this lighter hard plastic. I don't hate the new ones ...I just can't love them.
hi, if you an extra motu ac tion figures can i have one, thank you, any one you don't want anymore or have too many of,,,,,,,,thank you,......marius(punk rules)....i'll tell you why i asked after i get your answer
OMG. the second you extended the limbs? I went from "Eh, I can live without it" to... yeah... gonna have to get these now...
Robo is showing off his creative side with the intros and showcasing the studio. You made the right call going on your own
I laughed out loud!! ‘Deep Purple’ 🤘🏻🤘🏻You rock sir!!
Love the look of these! They feel like the perfect middle ground between the retro aesthetic of Origins and the modern aesthetic of Masterverse.
These figures are beautiful and so is the packaging! I hope they keep it up and go deep with niche characters from the cartoon that we have not gotten in the Origins line. I hope you keep it up with the awesome reviews as well, Robo! Thank you, sir!

These figures look awesome......must have these in my collection.
It's so wild how the limb extension made it feel like a totally different figure
I've been holding off on MotU figures for a while because there just wasn't anything I was super interested in so this flew right under my radar. I just ordered all 4. Great review Robo!
I freaking love that fly in intro please God keep doing that made me feel like Fraggle rock
Skeletor is looking really good, a bit pale over all but definitely an improvement from the original origins one that i really hate.
The best part is 40 year old dad's are watching this with a smile ❤
I have these too and they are so much fun. Saw the Promo Shots of Teela and Trap-Jaw and they are looking fantastic. I like and collect Orgins too but man, this Cartoon Line is getting me more hyped as I thought it would.
Club Grayskull/Super 7 versions absolutely look the best. Glad I have them. I wish Mezco would make some Masters of The Universe figures.
The thing is I totally agree that the Club Grayskull/Super 7 versions are far superior . I am not really into visually 'squished down' figures. I prefer the Club Grayskull versions .. the line that ended too quickly and was never completed..
Love the intro stuff on this one. Filmation robo don't know and the transition into the camera.
Hell yes here we go!!

Man at arms is like some of our dads so to speak. Always there, being a good guy in the back ground.
Gonna need that "Robo Don't Know" shirt ya got there...
These are the best of both worlds…. the classic look with improvements- articulations on the joints. Like the pearlized sword and weapons.
Great overview!
Great review. Can't wait to get these..
I just had a weird image of Robo at nine years of age with his usual long beard on. HAHAHAHA!
Love the Robomation logo!
7:17 I thought it was the same body mold as the origins mold, but the figure is a new body mold

I just picked up He-Man today, and I'm SOOO excited to get him opened up and do my review. Great vid!!

I didn't get that Origins pack because I don't do origins, but may track down that harness now. Thanks!
For action figures based on the cartoon series, I think we have the best Man at Arms ever.
Now we need a Filmation Masterverse line.
Club gray skull. I don't know nothing about that. But these are great. I'm gonns hunt these down. 🧡💛💙

If they had a ball joint diagram cut I would have pulled the plug on trigger.
I'm liking the editing and camera work dude! Nice job ;)
Thanks! Just playing and trying new things, having a ball.

At least your not alone at being a sucker for nostalgia marketing I think most of us are level 7 susceptibles
It's just the way we're programmed.
Eternia and big bowl of E.T cereal and I was ready for Saturday mornings!!!⚔🥣😁
I’d say in a few waves we will get a re-color of the beast man. It wouldn’t surprise me like they did with he man and skeletor different heads
That's true, always gotta hold something back for a reissue.
@@RoboDontKnow definitely and great video by the way sir!
i brought 2 origins Oko, one of it comes without the stick for the stand
I still remember that great parody commercial of He-Man
Which one
This is the series that got me, I hope they do a new orko.
Same, Filmation style and smaller to fit the show.
Where did you get the Skeletor head for your masterverse?
I got it on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/235084908720
I'd like to know what the 40th Anniversary He-Man looks with the head of this version.
Awesome video. 👌 quick question how did you do the Filmations look intro, was that an app.?
On the subject of Robo Do Know, did you ever pickup the SHF Obi-Wan Kenobi Darth Vader?
I did. I may do a review, but I'm also thinking about doing a big Vader Battle, see which is my favorite. Or both. Or neither. I need to get it open one way or another, haha.
@@RoboDontKnow I'm dying to hear your thoughts on it! I was skeptical before it released, but I think it's the best 1:12 Vader figure ever made now
If you did want to take off beast man’s armor you can just pop him apart at the waist
That's.....so simple I didn't even think of it, haha!
It's six inch because it's the same size as the Storm Tropper the Joe and ML are just a smidge taller.
6 inches tall doesn't mean 6 inch scale.

Because it isn't.
Why are their fury pants smaller than ever?
Because they are angrier than they've ever been.
Ha, I would be angry too if I had to wear such tiny drawers. Livid. @@RoboDontKnow
Was swapping the parts a thing kids did in the 80's?
Not that I remember. In fact, I think they were near impossible to get apart.

Are these better then super 7 as seen on tv?
11:07 longer but not thicker. U heard it here 1st!!!!!!!!!!@@@ 😂

This He Man could/should be much better! Very disapointing, sorry! 🤦🏽♂️👎🏻
Don't apologize to me, I'm happy.
The combination of horrible packaging (thin cardboard backing) and Amazon is never good.
I hate these so much.
Thanks for stopping by?
