The aftermarket parts should be out soon, and yes, in that case, you can use LCD instead of OLED

My phone is not cracked ... It got wet .. i can plug to mac and it will recognize it.. i restore it to factory settings. Still i have a black screen... I feel like opening the phone maybe a cable is lose
Most likely the LCD under the glass has been damaged.to make needs to be diagnosed

Don't you have to program the phone when you do this with newer iphones?
that's right, you need to use the programmer, but since by the time of the video parts were not available for the iPhone 12, we had to reuse the same screen for demonstration

At the moment the OEM is around $300 and the incel LCD is about $149

Since the Aftermarket screen is not out yet, we had to reuse the same screen

The screen will work, but you will get a notification pop up, which will indicate the display is not a genuine apple part

Hey bro let me ask you a genuine question. It’s seems so detailed and self explanatory but I really want to know how tedious or delicate is this process that maybe something else might screw up. I’m homeless right now and I need the screen changed and everyone is talking about $400-$600 and that is waaaay beyond my means like literally a fairy tail. LOL!
I just want to know the risks before I attempt it.

You can buy an Incell LCD which is still good quality but not OLED. I'm sure it will do the job, and it's only $150 or so; I assume if you be careful and follow step by step, you should be ok. I will gladly answer any of your Questions:)
