Great, challening...I do hear Monk too.
Slight error bar 12 (and where repeated) top note should be fret 7.

Ha... I can't believe i missed that. That's much better that way. Thanks!

So unique and clean. Also note that Jimmy Wyble's polyphonic studies in "The Art of Two Line Improvisation" have gone virtually unnoticed. And we have here another impeccable transcription from Francois. THANKS!

Hello ther! Another one from the surprising Jimmy Wyble! If Jerry Reed and Thelonious Monk had a child it would certainly be Jimmy Wyble... maybe not... hmmm... lets change subject... lol!
I haven't done a lot of 'rhythm changes' unfortunately but I really appreciate when it's done well like this one. I love the reharmonization, he's using a I-I7-IV-V instead of standard I-VI-II-V... pretty much the same changes but don't start me on that. And then a sweet 7th chord descending sequence C7-B7-Bb7-A7 before the turn. For the solo he doesn't bother with the reharmonized changes and just play like a usual rhythm change.
I'm pretty sure there is no bass line in the first few bars but I decided to keep it there because it makes the arrangement more suited for solo guitar and it's fun... isn't that the most important? Have fun!!

Thank You François ! It's great to hear this track with Jimmy. Wonderfully inventive player and a true gentleman. Always willing to go into detail if questions arose. A giant of guitar ! Thank you so much for all the great work you do !
Wishing you the best - John

I never have had a chance to hear the studies in "The Art of Two Line Improvisation." Are there any recordings. The only baroque/jazz style guitar recordings are from Ted Greene, and I really dig them. If you know of more examples, please let me know if you get a chance.

I've heard of him, but this is the first I've actually listened. Great, impressive.

"Michelle" performed in a solo guitar track by Earl Klugh in Yusef Lateef's Suite 16 needs to be transcribed so badly. I was surprised you have so many transcriptions of him except for Michelle.
