I think it goes in the garbage cause it’s like a thinner plastic

Apparently shopping plastic bags cannot be recycled so they are considered to be garbage

Plastic bags will gum up recycling sorting machines. They have to be put in bins specifically for those bags that sometimes you can find at grocery stores. With home and office recycling they go in the trash.
