Good video you captured the day and experience well, I was in Orange D. My first GNR, and enjoyed it, good crowds and atmosphere. Not as hilly as I anticipated but I'm from Brighton and used to lots of hills! I even managed to miss the rain later on luckily!
I think most orange wave missed the rain. Did you get out of South Shields ok?
Yes, checked the forecast and walked to the station with a beer before the heavens opened. Waited in a bar in Central station until it passed then went back to the hotel.@@TonyJamesRunning

Great video Tony. This was my first GNR and you capture the day well. Looks like you got out okay before the flooding effected buses and the metro. It took me until 9 to get to Newcastle centre

Serious question Tony' going off what ive heard it taking some people getting back to the start for there cars etc' if its possible would it not be easier for a slow jog back afterwards ' great video by the way good to see you oggy oggy oggy under bridges etc i always do that as 3😂
you can run back to the start if you fancy another 10 -13 miles.
Why were you in the orange B wave? Did you estimate a sub 90 min run?
My estimated finish was slightly more than that, but that's the wave GNR put me in 😊
