- Back in 1999, Peoria, IL's local News WEEK 25 team visited the Bob & Tom Show to interview them. Bob, Tom, Chick, and Kristie Lee were interviewed and gave some insight as to the show's beginnings.
2023 and still going. Thanks to UA-cam I can not only listen, but watch the show.
Have been listening to Bob and Tom since their first show in Indianapolis in 1983. I love the humor and it makes my day go better.

Chick looks amazingly like Chumlee from pawn stars. Was he in Vegas in the early 80's???
McIntyre and Dimmick: a classic news duo. Cannot be beat. Lots of great talent came through WEEK.
I love their show. Hard to believe Chick is the voice of Mr. Obvious. Also, Kristi is so cute. I don't care that she's almost 50. She looks great.

Let it be known these guys have been doing their show from Indianapolis since early 1983 and are still here in Indy. Simply the greatest "morning zoo" show ever! Are you a friend of Hal? (inside, I know)

I've been a loyal Bob and Tom listener since they were just "The Local Guys" on Q95 out of Indianapolis. I was surprised and happy when they became syndicated years after I left Indiana University. Waking up listening to them is like hanging out with old friends all morning, but with the added bonus of celebrity visitors.
@hrpt07 No they started in Michigan first before coming to Indianapolis in 1983. They've even touched on this before on their show.

I hear you.Growing up in central Indiana,I have enjoyed Bob and Tom for years and I remember back in the day thinking how sad it was that the rest of the country didn't get to enjoy them as well.Thank God for syndication.I can't imagine listening to any other show in the morning and will be very sad when they decide to call it quits.
LMAO! That went so far over my head! Hell, the show has such a high turn-over rate for spouses, I can't keep up. Now that I get the joke (3 days later), LOL!

Actually they did, but t didn't last too long. only a couple of months, then WFBQ radio in Indianapolis hired them & the rest is history.
Ugh who cares if it flies in Peoria. Peoria was the worst city I've ever been too and the reason I'm never going back to Illinois.
I grew up in and around Peoria. There were alot of goid things about Peoria. Its not a tourist destination at all. But a good place for business. Sorry you had a bad time there.
Then don't listen to them, I'm sure that the show would fall abaprt without your support.
Chick McGee. Humph! I did him once. Worst ever! Whined the whole time. I was pretty angry when he told me he was a dude! Your supposed to reveal that information up front, so to speak.
bob and tom show kinda sucks. its okay i guess but the constant fake laughter from them gets on my nerves...they overdo it sometimes.....without the funny comedian guests this show would be nothing
