I filmed a few Union Pacific runs at the very busy rail intersection at Rochelle Railroad Park in Rochelle, IL. Hope you enjoy the railroad as much as I do, if not more. Here is the park's web-site: www.rochellerailroadpark.org/
Bob and Tom Show Interviewed by Local News 25 Team
Переглядів 57 тис.16 років тому
Back in 1999, Peoria, IL's local News WEEK 25 team visited the Bob & Tom Show to interview them. Bob, Tom, Chick, and Kristie Lee were interviewed and gave some insight as to the show's beginnings.
As a kid that 0:49 made me sick to my stomach.
God I wish that were me
currently free on youtube
I had thought it was a giant mosquito. Very funny scene though.
2023 and still going. Thanks to UA-cam I can not only listen, but watch the show.
Fun movie with a good cast. Dad always got a kick out of this flick. 🦟
Chick looks amazingly like Chumlee from pawn stars. Was he in Vegas in the early 80's???
What are you kidding me? Yeah I didn’t listen this radio station of the kid but claiming that you guys scripted everything bullshit maybe now everything’s fucking scripted because nobody has a brain to think with.
Gross!
this was as horrible to watch now as it was when i was a kid. mmm
At least he blew it before it died.
Re-released on DVD in 2015 apparently, and still hard to find for under $20 new.
I love this movie!! I saw this at a mall movie theater, that has long since closed, with a bunch of friends in the 3rd grade for a classmate’s birthday party!! We laughed our heads off the entire film, just as I did now watching this scene at almost 50 years of age!! Sadly, they do NOT make comedies like this ANYMORE!!
RedandBlue Bulldog my experience was the same for the same reason, 3rd grade birthday party in a mall theatre, mine was at the Santa Monica mall, lol.
❤❤❤
look at these babies
Back when Tom still had hair.
McIntyre and Dimmick: a classic news duo. Cannot be beat. Lots of great talent came through WEEK.
Their chemistry is amazing
Is that Ringo Starr?
Yes, it sure is.
@@preble316and Dennis Quaid.
Not only is that Ringo Starr, but the hottie in the movie, Barbara Bach, ended up marrying him a year later.
Look at chick he still had dark hair.
Holy crap!
I think I heard Sid Gurney and Bart McCalister on that opening scene...
2008? This looks like it was shot in 1985....
Description says it was shot in 1999. It was uploaded to UA-cam in 2008.
nice video and great catch of all the train's in your video.
Have been listening to Bob and Tom since their first show in Indianapolis in 1983. I love the humor and it makes my day go better.
You actually admit that you've lived in Indianapolis that long??? What a miserable boring existence.
I feel sorry for the managers of that station.
Actually I wasn't at the park, I saw the train as I was crossing the Peoria Sub just south of Nelson.
You're welcome and thank you.
Thanks!
Great video.
I was suprised as well. Cool that you were there at the same time as me.
I saw the train with the CPs Saturday the 11th coming up the Peoria Sub, but the CP up front was leading, which was a very rare sight!
Huh? Who got pissy? I answered your question. Unless you're joking.
@hrpt07 No they started in Michigan first before coming to Indianapolis in 1983. They've even touched on this before on their show.
I bet christy likes it rough....
I hear you.Growing up in central Indiana,I have enjoyed Bob and Tom for years and I remember back in the day thinking how sad it was that the rest of the country didn't get to enjoy them as well.Thank God for syndication.I can't imagine listening to any other show in the morning and will be very sad when they decide to call it quits.
I've been a loyal Bob and Tom listener since they were just "The Local Guys" on Q95 out of Indianapolis. I was surprised and happy when they became syndicated years after I left Indiana University. Waking up listening to them is like hanging out with old friends all morning, but with the added bonus of celebrity visitors.
Ugh who cares if it flies in Peoria. Peoria was the worst city I've ever been too and the reason I'm never going back to Illinois.
I grew up in and around Peoria. There were alot of goid things about Peoria. Its not a tourist destination at all. But a good place for business. Sorry you had a bad time there.
LMAO! That went so far over my head! Hell, the show has such a high turn-over rate for spouses, I can't keep up. Now that I get the joke (3 days later), LOL!
Kathy as in Chick's ex-wife.
No Kathy here. Sorry.
Hi Kathy.
Then don't listen to them, I'm sure that the show would fall abaprt without your support.
bob and tom show kinda sucks. its okay i guess but the constant fake laughter from them gets on my nerves...they overdo it sometimes.....without the funny comedian guests this show would be nothing
Chick McGee. Humph! I did him once. Worst ever! Whined the whole time. I was pretty angry when he told me he was a dude! Your supposed to reveal that information up front, so to speak.
Let it be known these guys have been doing their show from Indianapolis since early 1983 and are still here in Indy. Simply the greatest "morning zoo" show ever! Are you a friend of Hal? (inside, I know)
I love their show. Hard to believe Chick is the voice of Mr. Obvious. Also, Kristi is so cute. I don't care that she's almost 50. She looks great.
They did.
Exactly.
Actually they did, but t didn't last too long. only a couple of months, then WFBQ radio in Indianapolis hired them & the rest is history.
