What fantastic conditions and photography Adam. A shoot like that would keep me upbeat for a year. I can’t believe how you stay so calm when making the video with awesome light like that in the background. We can all learn from your advice about scouting the area and getting to know it in different weather conditions. Top work as usual.😎
Late to the party here as I've been busy. You're such a beast at this man, the way you craft your compositions is such a joy to watch. Loved the intro video with the deer as well. Such a beautiful area and you have truly shown us beauty.
Very nice. I live here and I've never taken photos that nice. I'm going to have to get up early on my next day off and hit the woods. Thanks for the inspiration.
I loved the opening shot of the elk with the misty backdrop🤩 I’m blown away by the beauty of this place. You’ve definitely captured the ethereal magnificence of this forest. Congratulations on your work Adam👏😃😎
Truly magical location and light. you have managed to capture the beauty and essence of this location just so wonderfully! A bucket list location for sure!
Stunning images! I don't normally do much woodland photography when it comes to the landscape genre, but this video has definitely given me some inspiration to try and do more.
Beautiful images! I like trying to guess whether or not you are going to crop, and if so, where you will. My "hit rate" is increasing, which means that you are having an influence in how I view a scene. Thank you for that!
Great to see your photos in the Redwoods and glad you got to see the rhododendrons! That’s been on my list to see up there. As always incredible photos!
Only got to 00:33...love it already... Apparently, in the area, (California), youre in, the weather conditions are pretty dire! I really hope youre safe!
Thanks for sharing the light. Fog = dew point the same as the temp. Or really close. Maybe the temp over the water was cooler or warmer being pretty close to the dew point at the time. Happy shooting.
Beautiful pictures. Glad you were able to continue your trip and get to that area. I haven't been to the Redwood forest since 1971. I think it is time to return.
Very nice Adam. It'd be nice if you made this an annual trip to the Redwood forest even though I know it's a far drive for you. I live an hour north of San Francisco and we have Redwood trees and groves here too but not in such abundance as farther up the state like where you were at. Grateful to live among these majestic trees. Thanks for the video.
Adam, everytime I think I have seen your best you come back with something better. Amazing, these shots go beyond words. Excellent. Thank you, beautiful work!!!
I've been spending almost every Wednesday morning at Hollister House Gardens and the one thing I've learned the past few (very sunny) trips is that dark oiled cotton just doesn't cut it in those circumstances and what I really need is a light colored wide brimmed well ventilated straw 'Quiet Light' garden hat. ;-7 PS: Fabulous light!
Beautiful shots Adam! You are in my neck of the woods, so to speak! Elk shots in or around Orick? Hike at Damnation Creek trail? Camping at Mill Creek? I was just up on Damnation Creek trail and it was so lovely. Thanks for sharing with us!
I was worried that your earlier van troubles had ruined your plans to go to the redwoods. So glad you got there anyway, and I hope there's more videos to come from California. There's just nothing like a redwood forest.
Adam, I enjoy looking at your photos. They have such an ethereal quality to them. The redwoods are tremendous and majestic tress and the light rays enhance their majesty. Are you happy with the way Lightroom Classic processes your Fujifilm RAW files? Do you use any RAW processor first, like DxO PureRaw before bringing them into LrC? Thanks.
Wow! Love the sunbeams with the hint of blue/ fog. Exquisite. I don’t know why I had in my head not to use F16 that much, I see you do quite often. I need to try it more. Thank you for a wonderful episode
Adam, are you in Crescent City in this video? I saw you or your double at the Japanese Garden in Portland Oregon on Saturday. Too late, I realized I should have called for Adam to see if it was you. The hair seemed too short to be confident, but seeing this video - I am thinking it really could have been you, there by the Mt Hood Lookout in the garden!
Sir Adam Gibbs, I'm looking into getting some Magnetic Filters and I'm looking at the Kase Wolverine based on solely on your usage. I have two questions ; are you Sponsored by Kase and is there a discount by using your name. Thank you
Great! I currently don’t have any discount codes sorry. If you use my affiliate link in the description it might give you a small discount but I’m not sure on that one.
Amazing images which almost evoke an angelic experience to the viewer.
WOW! Absolutely incredible. I have never seen anything more beautiful. Thanks for sharing ❤
I don't think I've ever seen sunbeams captured like that. Mesmerizing!

As always, another great set of images Gibbsy 👍👍

This is a serious win. I love those moments in photography when things just come together.

Transported & elated by your compositions and music, like in a Terrence Malick’s film.
Great to see your photos in the Redwoods and glad you got to see the rhododendrons! That’s been on my list to see up there. As always incredible photos!
Great images Adam, hopefully your stay here in California was a good experience.
For sure, looking forward to returning.

Amazing light Adam, Some very beautiful shots for sure.

Yes that would be great. It's not really much further for me than driving to the Rockies so it may be an annual trip.
Simply awesome shots! My old stomping grounds of my youth...I have to come back this fall and try to capture as great images as you have!
Adam, everytime I think I have seen your best you come back with something better. Amazing, these shots go beyond words. Excellent. Thank you, beautiful work!!!

I'll look into it ;-)
I loved the old-timey film look on the opening. Spectacular images and location, thank you for taking us along!
Thanks for watching
Adam, thanks so much for these photos. I feel blessed to have seen them !
My pleasure!
Oh my, Adam, the light behind those tree branches at 12:59 is just stunning. I just had to pause there and look for a while. Thank you!
There’s no 12:59
Great videos as usual!
Beautiful shots Adam! You are in my neck of the woods, so to speak! Elk shots in or around Orick? Hike at Damnation Creek trail? Camping at Mill Creek? I was just up on Damnation Creek trail and it was so lovely. Thanks for sharing with us!
Mckinleyville here, I was wondering the same thing. I adore living near the redwoods.
The elk were near the casino? correct on the other locations
@@QuietLightPhoto Ah, yes Klamath. (The Casino)
I was worried that your earlier van troubles had ruined your plans to go to the redwoods. So glad you got there anyway, and I hope there's more videos to come from California. There's just nothing like a redwood forest.
Absolutely spectacular images, Adam - easily some of the best I’ve ever seen from you (or anyone else, for that matter!).
Thanks!
Amazing work Adam! I couldn't stop watching after those first two shots, wow what a creative composition with the branches in front!
Thanks a ton!

There's a few state and national parks in California with redwoods... which one were you at? Great images as always!
Damnation Creek
Absolutely stunning, Adam, as always!
Thanks again!
Love finding light like this. I have a hard time processing for it. Soooo I'd like to see how you process on these images??! Any chance of that?
Will do!

sorry wrong Adam, lol
@@QuietLightPhoto Stunning resemblance and coincidence on the length of the hair. Lol.
For the algorithm 🫡
Those trees doesn't look real. Hope I get to see them in real life one time. Beautifully captured

This Light… ’’to expose for the brightest spot & bring the shadows up from the RAW file’’. What else?
9:52 That light was Biblical. For a split second you can see cherubims and seraphims rejoicing in a circular clockwise motion!
