Just wanted to say David you're doing excellent work. I'm very happy to see you are still animating after all these years. I really appreciate the amount of effort and passion you put into these works of art. I'll be excited to watch this once it's finished!
honestly I'm so excited for this. David firth is one of my favorite animators out there. I always check his channel to see if he's uploaded anything new and I'm so excited for this new series or short film or whatever it may be. I've waited for a year and I'm glad he's back. I truly think he's a genius.

This animation looks as though it's going to top the last. From this preview the movements look a lot more fluent and smooth. I can't wait for this to come out and I'm sure whatever this will be it'll be great!

Hey david, what software are you using to make these types of animations? I've noticed you've done this before in Sock 5 and Ready Err Not music video, is it After Effects? Or is there more to it?
Looks like after effects. But I could be wrong.

Everything in the video is achievable in After effects. You'd create the assets/compositions in Photoshop and import them into AE to animate. Hope that helps. C4D is pretty good for animating too.
You can replicate this photo montage technique in many different softwares, just look up for different animation softwares, skeleton rigging for some, or maybe the puppet tool in After Effects, etc. I would love to know what program David uses. Would be nice if he'd tell us. I would say Adobe Animate/Flash or After Effects
Have you seen cyriak? he does some pretty complicated stuff and its all on after effects.

I've been waiting for years mate. I really want to explain what I meant when I made that comment.
There's a GIANT fan base (around 100k) in my country with forums, reddit and what not.
I'm just disappointed that it takes so long.
Not only regarding the meadow man but also releases in general.
UA-cam has become a shallow place that doesn't pay out for amazing creators like David.
I'm just saying that in comparison to today's youtube animators he is like ... well... on a GOD level because his animations impact so many people on a different variety of ways.
I understand your frustration, but there's little point in whining. If you've been a fan of the Foyf for years, you'll know not to expect uploads from one month (or even year) to the next. That's just the way it is.

The thing is though, as a fan of an animator you have to sometimes expect LONG hiatiuses. Animation, especially if you want it done well and are doing it solo takes time. Not to mention you have to take your own life/health into consideration. Yes, he could provide updates more often for more info on how things are going, but he doesn't have too. Point is, unfortunately you have to sometimes wait a long time to see great creations. At least he is making shorts and putting time and effort in.

If UA-cam is not paying you enough to make these videos, create a kickstarter.com page or something. Create alternate ways of funding yourself, because people will be willing to pay for what you have.
