excellent work. descaling...you have a Brass chamber. Other model is STAINLESS? NOT SURE. Any guidance to pursue brass or stainless? If I purchase STAINLESS can a BRASS chamber replace the STAINLESS? thank you
Hello, do you have any opinion about Malic Acid ? Sage sells a Descaler based on Malic Acid and I don't know if it is safe for a LP .. Thanks in advance !
@@HoonsCoffee you have a classic then it looks well taken care of. Im not sure how old mine, is im trying to figure that out, mine looks similar to yours but with wood knobs and handle, my single power button is green instead of the red like yours. Yours has zero rust in drip tray area, mine has a little in that area. I wonder if its possible to get it professionally refurbished to make her look like new again, or maybe buy a new tray. Its not bad but for the future I'd like to do this. Mine seems to like more than 13 grams of coffee or it runs through to fast, and I'm have a little difficulty with texture of milk, I think its the steam tip its different. How much did you get it for?
Rather than using descaler, use citric acid combine with vinegar, it will be a strong descaling , the ordinary descaler is not strong enough, the blue colour in the water is when brass reacted with air
@@neodrumz rasio 1:20 , for ex: 50gr citric acid to 1000gr water, if your coffee machine is electric do not use vinegar, the smell will stick to the boiler, if you are using la pavoni thats okay, because it is a simple machine and easy to clean
Well explained.
I have a 30 & a 20 yr old La Pavoni & wouldn't have any other make.
Great machine Hoon! You're going to have fun with this one, looking forward to the upcoming videos!
So much power in that! I didn't expect that at all.
I know. That is the problem.
Do you have a video changing the little filter at the bottom? You quickly showed it when you showed the bottom.

Same exact stuff I used in my la pavoni! Worked well

What size tamper for this model of pavoni? I just found the exact same one at an estate sale.
how much water do you use to dilute the 4oz descaler solution?
How much pressure do you have on the pressure gauge? Looks a little bit high.
Thanks for posting. Excellent
How often should you do this?
This thing is beautiful. I want one so bad, but these things are not cheap. Especially with the shipping too.
I was this close to having one of these at home, but just a couple of hours and it was sold to someone else.
Hi man!
Can you help me ship notneutral to my country?
Try reach out from Instagram page.
How old is your pavoni?
Not sure. According to my friend I got from, 1963 or 1964.

if I use citric acid, is it okay to run the solution thru the group head?
