I like the movie, the performances and the fact that is showed that catching ghosts by self-invented equipment will always be funny and a dream without limits of latitude

After all the hype had died down all people had to go on was word of mouth and the fact this movie bombed at the box office shows the word of mouth didn't say good things about it. There was a load of merchandise on sale at the time of release that stores just couldn't sell and had to be heavily discounted to clear off the shelves. New merchandise from the original movies also went on sale and heavily outsold anything from the new movie. Again, not an opinion, just facts.

Because of what came before. It's piggybacking off an established franchise but disregarding everything that happened before. Totally disrespectful. Those other two movies built the franchise, without them this movie would never have been made, and then to disrespect and insult all of that franchsies fans? Utterly ridiculous move, make sure the fans don't show up to watch the movie so you have no chance of turning a profit. Yeah, they went down REAL well with Sony.
