LIKE & SUBSCRIBE BABESSSSS THANK YOU 😘
Hope you all enjoy this lil vlog, it's a little longer than normal because I chat a bit about my thoughts on living in seattle! I've been in Ohio and busyyyyyyy with work so I've been MIA, but can't wait to be back in SEA soon.
lmk your thoughts if you have any, also lmk if yall are like me with the whole thrifting thing... is it just me? lol
ALSOOOO…. Let me just say this. I gave y’all a 1.5 minute glimpse into my thoughts on homelessness in Seattle. I did not dive into what I do BEHIND CLOSED DOORS to combat the SPIRIT that is at work in Seattle specifically with homelessness. If y’all want my COMPLETE thoughts on homelessness to where you wont be able to take a minute long clip and make an assumption, then if the Lord gives me the green light then I’d be more than happy to dive in what I believe is the SPIRIT behind homelessness and the demonic spirits at work in these image bearers.
love yall to life, and happy holidays. praying for those who need the Comforter during this time
if you don't care about my thoughts on seattle you can skip to 16:28 LOL
    peace,
    Kennedy

Thanks for sharing Kennedy! My first time watching your channel~ Funny you shared about getting used to someone screaming every morning getting on the bus 😆. I may be moving to fremont for work but am concerned about the loneliness. Im planning to get plugged into a local church. Would love to grab coffee sometime if youre still in town! ☺️

Hi Kennedy so nice to see you again I'm sorry that you feel so lonely here. It's good to see you getting out and about and living life to the fullest. That's good that you're bringing your car back because there are some beautiful places all around Washington that you should see. I hope you are enjoying your vacation and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Beautiful Blessed New Year.

I'm not disagreeing but when I was younger, I had a similar mindset on homeless people (not really understanding how the world works/how society works) thinking "well if they just got a job, they would be fine." It's not that easy. I'm from San Diego and live in NYC, both places with rampant homelessness. While there are some people who actively choose to stay in their environment, you have to consider those who cannot break the disease of addiction. Some homeless shelters turn people away because they don't fit certain criteria while others don't have the resources to quit their addictions. Ultimately, we really cannot judge the less fortunate for why they are in these positions--only help them. It's unfair to say ALL homeless people are like this or whatever. I believe your comment meant well when you were talking about your discomfort with it! However, I personally believe it is unfair to say that these people aren't willing to help themselves because they want to do heroin or when the bigger issue is they have an addiction, they don't have free resources to get them clean and the system doesn't work for them. Some people are waaaaaaaay too gone to even help them and at that point, you should pray for them. There are so many factors and reasons why people are in their current situation and we shouldn't judge them/turn our noses up at them. We have no idea what their walk in life was or is and we should use our privilege to help them in any way we can!
I'm not looking to argue, I just remember when I was a kid and had a similar thought process before I understood how the world works and how I changed my mindset to help those less fortunate than I or even to have empathy. Even those who steal to sell to get drugs, as you said. There might be a reason why they ended up in that situation, but we have to remember that not everyone is as fortunate as us to have resources, money, and family to steer us in the right direction. And if someone refuses to get the help they need, who are we to judge them? I am not God and I am not perfect either. I am human and I make mistakes as well.

Despite your assumptions about me and why i think what I think, I actually agree with you 100%. I simply didn’t take 20 extra minutes to discuss all of the nuances and my thoughts on the matter. I was simply speaking to what I’ve seen and an ASPECT of homelessness out here that has shocked me. Because it’s still a reality in many situations. We agree more than you probably think, thanks for your comment though :)

How do Seattle residents get a long-term Orca bus pass? Are the only options a day pass or a single ride?

I get mine from my job, but if you can’t get one from your job then I know anyone can get an orca card where you upload money to it whenever you need in addition to the options you mentioned!

Unfortunately I’m not aware of any options other than those though there might be!
