It was all true A parlor strode, and the night sets forever I stray in the quiet cold And you gird me when I dare to listen Elastic meadow, endless arms of sorrow Lips try to form "because" Trying to adapt to the wilderness Where even foes close their eyes and leave We are inside the glade Every now and then I wipe the dust aside To remember How I drape my face with my bare hands The same that brought me here But you were beyond all help The folded message that wept my name Shadows skulk at my coming We survey the slopes In search for the words to write the missing page The tainted dogma Time grows short As the piper plays his time We are almost there
It's the opposite for me. I think the songs are kind of janky but the atmosphere is great. And the raw production is largely responsible for the atmosphere.
God that bass tone is just fucking awful. What were they thinking during the recording? The royal Albert hall version of this song is the best version. Mendez should go in and re-record the bass. Morningrise sounds so awful. Great songs but terrible production.
My dream: Opeth records these tracks again but use the growls from these sessions....maybe MA could record the cleans again with his current amazing voice. The RAH version is killer but his growls went downhill by that point. One can dream...!
It's like a trip on darkness woods with sad feelings.
It was all true
A parlor strode, and the night sets forever
I stray in the quiet cold
And you gird me when I dare to listen
Elastic meadow, endless arms of sorrow
Lips try to form "because"
Trying to adapt to the wilderness
Where even foes close their eyes and leave
We are inside the glade
Every now and then I wipe the dust aside
To remember
How I drape my face with my bare hands
The same that brought me here
But you were beyond all help
The folded message that wept my name
Shadows skulk at my coming
We survey the slopes
In search for the words to write the missing page
The tainted dogma
Time grows short
As the piper plays his time
We are almost there

FUCKIN´ AMAZING, BUDDY! YOUR RELECTURE BECAME SO BEAUTIFUL! WHAT IS THAT BASS, MYGODESS?
Amazing work! Did you also make the artwork ?
No, its from google. I just added the remastered to the picture.
The artwork was made by StygianSaviour
Out of curiosity what kind of tweaks did you do in terms of remastering?
This album needs to be re-recorded, big fan but dont like the sounds of it :(
coward, false fan.
@@DeadandDECAYED99 yeah bro relax, lol
understandable. these tones are pretty hard to swallow, to bid your farewell being the only exception for me.
Agreed....a new recording would be amazing. Or play the whole album live and multitrack that.
