Hey Brenda ! I am glad you are creating a tree artwork tutorial , i love trees ! This was a very informative tutorial, great for the Pyography artist . I hope you create an artwork based mainly on trees sometime in the future , that would be awesome. Big like from me !
Hi Dk! Thank you so much for the really awesome comment! The trees are the same thing I do when drawing, so it was pretty easy to "convert" into pyrography. Speaking of future videos, I do hope that you'll have one coming out. I miss seeing you create artwork!
It's always a challenge to make trees look organic and "not the same", lol. But I enjoy burning trees or tree silhouettes. Have you ever burned a night sky, with stars and cosmic clouds / nebula/ mist / space dust, basically the Milky Way? I would love to see a tutorial as I am struggling making space and clouds look as organic as trees... 😆
Hello Iona, I have no. I know that Valarie of Drawing with Fire has done a space scene. I will add it to my list of future demos. Just keep in mind that I can't promise when I will get to it. As I ponder this, I would tread the cosmic clouds as clouds or mist. The denser the clouds, the lighter in color, so less burning. I have done a video on mist. I can't promise it will help, but in theory it won't hurt. :) Here's a link to the misty lake tutorial video: ua-cam.com/video/Qh0zv3kfbLg/v-deo.html
I am learning a lot from your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. It would be helpful if you tell us what heat level you are using. Have you done anything with pinecone or acorns?
Hi Sandy, glad my videos are helpful. I do not include temperature for a number of reasons. I explain why in the following video (at the 5:43 minute mark): ua-cam.com/video/HwWRkBBCwAY/v-deo.html I often find that the newer an artist is, the less likely they are using a light hand pressure. I have a video that explains why this is important: ua-cam.com/video/q8OGqS5kyHg/v-deo.html I have not created a tutorial for either a pinecone or an acorn. I will add both to my list of viewer requested subjects. I just can't promise when I will get to it.
Thank you for this, as a real beginner it is so helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment
