i switched from extreme tour to speed mp 2k24 recently and i can confirm that auxetic 2.0 is noticeable, mostly in terms of comfort on impact, even tho these are different raquets. Do you think it might be a good idea adding extra 5 grams to the handle in order to get a whippier feeling (similar to the 315mm balance of extreme tour) since i'm a one handed backand player?
I did exactly that for the same reason and think it's an improvement. I put some Blu-Tac covered in cotton wool and stuffed it in the bottom cap. Easy to take out if you don't like it.
Usually I would say no. Don't mess with rackets too much, it's a never ending rabbit hole that many players can get lost down. But, because the Speed Pro has the 18/20 SP and you can't jump weight so easily ... might be worth a try. If you like it. Can't be wrong!
Great video! I’ve been playing for a short year now want was worried the Speed MP is a bit too heavy for me but the MP L too light. I don’t want to tinker too much and plus the MP L is usually not available in gripsize 4. So I went for the Boom MP which is 5 grams lighter than the Speed. So far I like the Boom but I am still wondering about the Speed 🤔
Sounds good - you’ll always be wondering what if on racket and strings! Stick to your Boom - get really used to it and then if you’re still inquisitive grab a demo of the Speed MP and try it!
First of all. Lot of time for the correct capitalisation of HEAD. To answer your question .... it really depends on the frame. Lots of very different rackets here and HEAD have lots of good string options. Velocity MLT is a very nice multifilament and Lynx is a nice standard Poly.
Went from the 2022 360 Graphlene Plus to the latest. There is a subtle difference (improvement)

In love with HEAD GRAVITY MP

Speed MP 2024 is great. 100% agree
Darth Vader has good taste it seems ... who'd have thought ...
Any reasons why you prefer the MP over the Pro versions?
How is Head's quality control for SW and Static Weight?
I want to buy Head Speed MP but I want to buy racquet with head size 98. Why is there no 98 Head model in this version?
What for a string would you recommend for the Head Speed MP
Maybe the Babolat RPM blast
Strong top 5! What’s your favourite HEAD string to pair with them?

LOL! And, I like the Gravity because of its flex and its 16x20 string pattern. Hopefully, it's your #6.
Head's line up are truly confusing. I wish to have the right Head's racquet for my style of play and swing.
Head make the nicest looking raquets, but I find all this new technology just marketing spiel, which is why most pro's are using molds from years ago.
Some is ... some isn't. Auxetic 2.0 is genuinely a difference maker!
