Ken goes Cruising is a channel dedicated to sharing our experience of cruising. We have enjoyed 52 cruises since 1995. As well as sharing some factual and helpful information the idea behind this channel is to share our joy of cruising. My long suffering wife Lindsey is a very important part of our team. Since our retirement we had planned several bucket list cruises and so far we have only completed one of them. We have now started international cruising again and hope you will join us on our travels.

Ken I believe on the first wardrobe those big shelves tilt up so you can make a hanging wardrobe short or long depending if you lift one or two of the shelves up - look forward to the rest of videos :-)
Thank you so much for that we will bear it in mind next time we are on Bolette or Borealis. It just seemed a little strange.

Yes, looks adequate, with a good amount of electrical sockets, but a little dated. I don’t know how Lindsey found that shaver socket-very strange location! Shower curtains drive me crazy. Nice that they supplied a bath mat and a lot of good quality towels.
She is a little dated but very clean and functional. I think she's a bit like me Cheri! If you get what I mean

Hi Ken and Lindsey are you going on Fred Olsen Borealis in late May. We are and would like to know if you are because you go on Fred Olsen a lot but never go on Borealis. Thanks Tracey Darren and Darcey x
Hi Tracey, Darren and Darcey, we have only been on Fred Olsen once so far and unfortunately we won't be sailing on Borealis at the end of May. We are booked on the maiden voyage of Queen Anne at the beginning of May and then on Aurora later that month. We are looking at Fred Olsen again for next year just trying to work out when as we already have 2 cruises booked for next year. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time on board. If you do bump into us on a cruise please say Hi

I was told that you can remove the shelves in one of the cupboards and gain extra hanging space

Yes Sylvia there is a large flat screen TV with a large choice of free films, live TV and Access to your on board account. I hope this helps

As you say, really strange shelving. Otherwise, nice and spacious. How did you find the lighting?
The lighting in the cabin was OK but to see inside the wardrobes you had to turn on the bathroom light and open the door.
