Those graphics in the two trailers, with 'TVS' stylised in such a typical late-1980s way, looked hideous to me. So much from that time seems so horribly, easily dated. It seems obvious from the 'Emmerdale Farm' opening that Yorkshire were still including their pre-programme ident - something their presentation department confirmed to me in 1988 when I asked them about. Thwu said they were against the rushed decision and were resisting it as far as they could.
