@@thecyberhobbit all good here dude - your set up is looking top notch now mate!! Really impressed with how your getting it all to look! Impressive…. very impressive! 😁👍🏻
Was planning on doing the same thing. Got 7 Hobbit holes so far and the Mill and Bridge. Been looking for a Green Dragon Inn with the idea to finish building the bridge over to the Inn. Finally got a Green Dragon Inn only to find out it is a lot smaller than the Mill. Need to figure out a way to make the Inn look bigger or the Mill look smaller.
Great idea and one I plan on doing someday as well. You could probably get a little creative and made the entire risers out of cardboard since they completely covered up. Your also going to need a lot more room if you intend to collect the entire 42 hobbit hole line!
yeah I thought about that... but actually already owned the risers with the purpose of using them for the Hobbit holes so figured may as well just use them :D (plus the acrylic is pretty strong). I actually do own a lot more of the hobbit holes (still in boxes) but I'm hoping to move in a year or so and will probably extend the display then with another curio cabinet. Thanks for commenting man!
@@thecyberhobbit Of course! We collectors have to help each other out! Moving! I'm sorry, I don't envy all the packing up, but it is always great to think of a new display room and new ways to display everything and hopefully more room!
@@n2darkness yeah packing is going to be horrible, will probably need to start months ahead of the move. I moving literally because I've maxed out my current home and want to continue collecting so I view it as part of the process :D
If you cut circles that match the stands I believe it would sit in the grass rather than on top but it looks great all the same. Also you could cut a path and make a cobblestone path with little rocks. I would be willing to help in anyway I can as well I really enjoy crafts. Love your channel. Huge fan of LOTR and Star Wars.
yeah I actually thought about that but then I realized since I'll be adding more of them to my collection I'd need to be shifting around and making new arrangements so decided not. Good idea about the paths though. Appreciate you commenting!
2 questions: 1) Where did you get that Ring inscription rug? 2) Where is that Uruk standing behind the mini Saruman from? Great video. What happens when you buy more Hobbit holes?
hey there... 1. Etsy (search "Lord of the Rings rug"), 2. That is the 1/8 scale Lurtz from Asmus Toys. When I made this I actually had about 8 more hobbit holes just sitting in boxes unopened. I'll probably keep most of them in boxes until I move sometimes hopefully next year in which case I'll probably buy a bigger curio cabinet and then make an extension.
hmm I hadn't really thought about it as the main reason for this was because I already had the hobbit holes... that being said it does sound like an interesting idea I will definitely be thinking about it. Thanks for commenting
@@thecyberhobbit It would be a lot more expansive, a bit noisy and require maintenance, but imagine a Rivendell display with real waterfalls (with water pumps) !
the perfect display for the hobbit holes.

Awesome, very nice buddy. Very cool
thanks man!
Nicely done! I was looking for an uncomplicated way to display these things, and this is a good solution.
Thanks! It's not perfect but better than nothing
@@thecyberhobbit Do you remember the dimensions of the risers that you used?
@@johndonohue7132 Hi there, don't remember off the top of my head but in the description of the video you can find amazon links to everything I used.

how the camera turns at 2:30, wow
