Yeah I know you couldn't put all the power down because of the wet weather but bloody hell those pops are bang bang it really sets your car apart from other BMWs really like that you should keep on adding more power to that car I think there's more but more so I would come out of your BMWs engine and really take your UA-cam channel it's pretty darn cool man kudos brew

What you need is an xhp gearbox remap and an lsd soon 🤞🏾
Anyone using mhd for the first time:: If you don't hook up a charger when your flashing and the battery voltage is too low you can brick your ecu. If you ain't got a charger you can use jump leads off another car. Also clip in the drivers seat belt and it'll stop the car going into sleep mode 👍🏻
how safe is an mhd tune compared to getting your car dyno tuned? Been looking at getting an mhd tune for my n13 as it adds around 100hp and a decent amount of torque.
@drbass9677 flashing with mhd is completely safe and I've done it over 100 times with my bmws. The "off the shelf" tunes are very good and get regular updates on them but you're never going to get the most out of them. The beauty of it is though that you can find your own tuner and they can send you a more custom map because you can send them logs from your cars ecu through the app 👍🏻
14:25 tbh I thought the same after being in 300hp Subarus, 330hp Insignia VXR and a 400hp A45s they didn’t feel much different. Then I had a go in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and my brain exploded 😂

I went back to standard map, the car lost the linear power and instant response with mhd, especially noticeable below 2000 rpm

A proper map is now needed, you can end up ruining a car if it’s not got a good map on it
MHD is a proper map. Used by thousands. Tested by far more people than any bespoke map

there is a reason for cold starts so just make sure now that it warms up before driving it

No the cold start is only emission related, has 0 to do with warming up your engine in this case.
@@AmsterdamSam erm, no. A cold start is the result of a cars ecu being programmed to allow a richer air/fuel mixture to enter the cylinders to prevent it from stalling. This is because when an engine is at operating temperature, fuel will vaporise naturally and be burned so the ecu makes up for this when it is clod by allowing a richer air/fuel mixture. Since this increase in fuel can lead to clogging of the ignition the ecu will increase the engine speed to make sure all the excess fuel is forced out the cylinders quicker than normal.
@@djrdm2755 i get what a cold start is, yet on the b58’s they made it so the first 30 seconds are fking str8 piped or something just to warm up the cat, it runs higher rpm on a cold engine which is bad. Thats why its good he turned the option off in the mhd app.
can you un-map the car once remapped?
Bigger wheels-tyres / diameter for style an width for traction . Shouldn't map without a dyno session imop !
easy with the throttle when changing gears because it will take you off guard
I recommend the Goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric 6 tyres. They've got bags of grip so you can put your power down to the max

@@leeg8973 I had them on for 300 miles found them way too soft , I am putting down 540 bhp in my 140 , went back to Michelin pilot super sports , proper stiff tyre but for good driving conditions with a bit of heat in them
@@Addselwyn well you don't want the sidewalls too hard because without any flex then you're still break traction too easily

Hey mate! This is a £442 one! So it comes with the anti lag, map switching and stage 2 & 2+ maps :)
But the cheaper option is good just for just stage 1! ❤️
