6:35 That small red button, the car shutting off, and the "eeeeeeeeeeeee" noise make me belive that button is for the flame kit. A lot of modern day flame kits just shut off the power to the engines coilpacks, and route it to the coil for the spark plug in the exhaust. If you want, try revving the car, and holding WOT, and pressing the button. If everything works, the injectors should still pulse fuel into the cylinders, the spark plug in the engine wont do anything, and the raw fuel+air will get ignited as it exits the exhaust.
Exactly as stated, had a “dragons breathe” flamer kit on my GSi back in the early 00’s and the button kills the coils for the engine and starts the coil for the exhaust. Rev the engine up, press and hold the button whilst keeping WOT and then release the button before the engine stalls 👍🏻
You'll need to double check the serial number, but that might be a Automobile Snow White color PS2 SCPH-30000, which are like a grand. There were a limited number of PS2 consoles painted with automotive paint and that looks like it may be one of them

I have a soft spot for these kind of cars. The craftsmanship and the creativity that were put into these is unlike pretty much anything you see today. Bonus points for having labeled everything behind the rear seats
To be fair, as lads who grew up watching Fast and Furious and Pimp My Ride. we knew about it, saw a few modified cars out and about, but on the whole the general consensus between me and my mates was that they were all a bit naff. I don’t any of the Max Power era cars have aged very well at all.
One of my favourite weekend activities as a 15 year old was hanging around bus stops in town with a Bacardi Breezer watching the endless laps the local modified cars used to do. Novas, Fiestas, Saxos, Astra GTEs... Never understood why my mates wanted to chase girls instead. Weirdos.

My mum and stepdad used to have a red FTO when I was younger. It was the V6 with Mivec and it went pretty well at the time. 197bhp wasn't bad back then. Always had a soft spot for them.
I remember this car back in the mid 2000s, I owned an FTO myself and remember most people in the owners club absolutely hated this thing, hats off to the original owner for trying something different, must have cost an absolute fortune back then as modifying them was either figure it out yourself using parts for other cars or import parts from Japan and incur huge shipping costs

These a such a fun little car when they're not rusted through and full of electronics and wiring they don't need (at least, not for the show business). It's sad that I knew the engine was untouched just from the startup xD. This is such a childhood hit from the early 2000s, and games like Juiced (The OG one anyway) really helped with keeping these things cool. I own one now a GPX COTY, it's mint. Very cool to see this one

I remember so many Max Power magazines and even a "how to" book for modifying your car back when I was a wee lad 🤣 I used to think that having massive exhausts (or multiple of them) was the coolest thing ever.
I used to have a flame kit back in the 2000’s and as far as I remember it didn’t have external gas or anything like that, you just cut the power from engine coils and instead turn on the exhaust coil, the air-fuel mixture was ignited on the exhaust and kaboom you had flames
18:34 juiced 2 was very good, I remember a specific achievement that was very difficult, something like 5 million points or other absurd amount of uninterrupted drift points that you needed to do. I remember the day I got it, I couldn't even celebrate it out loud because it was very late and I was playing in secret, with the TV on mute hahaha
Honestly i genuinely think you owe it to that era and everything it brought us to restore that fto to its full show spec glory and keep it forever! Also, that max power dvd needs to be on the internet, im pretty sure i don't want to see whats happening but at the same time i kind of have to know 😂

Even if not all of those cars were looking good or to be taken serious ... all of them were the opposite of boring or standard and they still bring people together.
Man, FTO’s are the bomb!! They looked great, sounded great, handled great… just didn’t perform great! If these came awd and had an evo 2.0T engine they would’ve been amazing! Also, these were so damn expensive to insure… it was cheaper to insure for me with a clean record than a TT supra auto that I ended up getting. Parts for the FTO were hard to come by. Do this car justice, try something wild if you can. Subbed for this beauty!

I know it's a long shot, but you should do a proper Juiced tribute to this car (yes, I said juiced because this car was actually in the game, ulike nfs or midnight club). What I mean by tribute. A proper tuneup (a cheap ebay turbo or SC), nos, the works. You already got the Nos, and the "proper" cosmetic modifications in place.
If anything, I would at least send it out to get polished/cleaned up as best as it can. For the most part the interior doesn’t seem to be too terrible either, but the whole car needs to be disinfected. As a precaution. Color-matching would be infeasible in so many different ways, but maybe new door handles?
The throwback to 16 year old me playing NFS2 for hours on end and thinking the corsa with one of those limited edition automotive PS2’s in the glovebox owned by my pal’s big brother was achingly cool is strong. So strong.

As a gentleman in the prime of his years, I spent my late teens at Fezzie Park S-o-T 1994 ~ and it wasn’t so much about speed and engine mods it was more about the show..lights disco balls and thumping bass..better times anyway love that car and love your shows 👍
