The look of impressed envy on Bubby's face at the owner after Bubby tries to test the limits of the instrument's tone and playability, and the instrument effortless responds to every lick he plays as if to say, 'is that all you got?' Priceless. Props to the instrument-building master craftsmanship of Michael Tobias.
Every MTD Bubby touches turn to gold - If you think I am joking, look at the tuning pegs when Justin was playing it, it was black. Then as soon as Bubby touched it, they became GOLD ! BEHOLD!
Haha, yeah, the wrong tuners were delivered so Mike had to pick up the correct set from them at NAMM and install them on my bass at the show! I don't need to say how great Mike and Daniel are.
Some of those chords are appear absolute murder to finger. Amazing! I used to think Bubby did too much of that bass-wank fast, speed-for-speed-sake stuff, but you know what, he is like the complete player for me. Love the dude. Stay blessed Mr L.
I know right i use to say the same thing but looks like he got better with not trying to do all that fast playing every minute in actually playing something ..
The guy who sold me my last pack of strings for my 5-string said that the cool part about being a bass player is that you don't have to be very good. I didn't even know what to say.
Dude! Its so funny cause the only two videos I've found about people checking out this bass have a tunning space included in them. They're both awesome btw... Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for posting this! Wow, what a beautiful finish. Sounds nice too, but I'm sure anything Bubby touches will sound nice. I heard 17 mm string spacing, that's nice too! My ibanez BTB has that spacing and I dig it for chords, I may even want slightly tighter? 16.5 mm? Maybe at that point I might as well get the Gerald Veasley signature, but that's a lot of cash.
Ellis Abram it's a playing ramp. Basically a thumb rest usually made from wood and matched to the body of the bass. Any good carpenter can make one or in this case it was requested when the bass was made.
Hearing Lewis play the C string with those chords sounds beautiful, it reminds me of thundercat. I really want a six string now.
That bass is a site to behold. Sounds magnificent.
*sight.
Great finish, great sound - stunning player. These chords are wonderful.

if u get used to a btb you well be good at any other bass
What is the thing in between the pickups called and where can I get one? This bass i beautiful. Always going to sound good if it has a MTD tag on it.

Cool. Thanks.
Good sound mtd bass ^^
"It's easy to do stuff like that on too". Yeah, Bubby. Piss easy!!!
It would take me half an hour to play just one of his runs 😂
The fingers of his left hand look like the legs of a spider.
yep... amazing fret hand
honestly
BUBBY!!!
Please, Tell what kind of Bartolini PU are here? Thanks
Hi, they are a special winding especially designed from Michael Tobias specs. But they are that same PU that are used on the MTD Super 6 bass.
What does Glenn Lee Call it?
I call her Celeste. ;)
Waooo now I see... That's space food 😍😍😀
"что, дружище, не получается?" )))
