Hi there, thx for reaching out! Sure, you can configure it in the Fixture Bank, the icon located at the top right of the app's main interface. We'll also cover this part in our upcoming episodes, stay tuned!!
Just to clarfy can the TRX both receive the bluetooth commands and transmit them via CMRX and also send those commands along a DMX cable to a non CMRX device or would I need two devices for the app to talk to both CMRX and DMX devices
If you have some non-CRMX devices on set and connect them only via DMX cable to CRMX lights controlled by the KNOWLED APP, they may sometimes respond but can occasionally fail or have noticeable delay. Therefore, we strongly recommend adding a TimoLink TRX (set to receive mode) or TimoLink RX to the DMX lights for a more stable connection and reduced latency.
Ok, I will take that into consideration at the moment I only have two CMRX lights and use the Chauvet wireless DMX devices to cut down on cables in my very small home studio. These were around £210 for one transmitter and three recievers with additional recievers around £40 so I may stick with this for the time being.
What about generic DMX fixtures - is there a way to create custom fixture profiles in app?
