The most important thing I've learned from your videos about brown is that in polite company I can now describe something that is clearly 'baby shit brown' as 'English Uniform' instead. Thanks for the many, many, hours of instruction and entertainment.
Space Marine armour is brown on the inside.
I feel like I really don't want to know why.
Time to buy a combat patrol of Marines and paint them brown!

That mini looks great! When coming up with brown schemes, are you basically adding contrasting tints to your different browns?

Hi Doctor, would it be possible to do a tutorial on thinning paint, I seem to either make it too thin or to thick, I can never get it right. I love your videos, how to understand lighting and where to put highlights would be really good too.

Doc do you have any good recommendations on helping someone learn what colors are used to make colors. I find I struggle with this exact problem. I never know what colors to use to shade and highlight a base color. Sometimes I get lucky it and it all works out some times it looks terrible. TIA
@12:24 you refer to VGC beige, I don’t think there is a beige in the game colour range, is it discontinued or did you use VMC beige? I’m planing my Christmas gift of paints so I’d like to know what colours you used, I like my brown models.
