The record label will not pay for me to accompany him and take time from work. They have him right where they want him. He’s 19 however and has been well educated on the pitfalls of the business. They make it very difficult, though they wind him and dined him and then tried to change the original contract without me present. He went through all the steps, but never signed because he knew that they were going to do him dirty ultimately. Now he’s preparing to sign with a different label. I would love nothing more than to be standing beside him for each event with this new label but it’s just not possible. As the mother of a young rapper, just getting in the business, there is no extra money for me to travel with my son. I have two full-time jobs as a single parent. The record label will not pay for me to accompany him and take time from work. They have him right where they want him. He’s 19 however and has been well educated on the pitfalls of the business. They make it very difficult, though they wind him and dined him and then tried to change the original contract without me present. He went through all the steps, but never signed because he knew that they were going to do him dirty ultimately. Now he’s preparing to sign with a different label. I would love nothing more than to be standing beside him for each event with this new label but it’s just not possible. I believe the record labels target individuals that don’t have the freedom because of financial issues. I feel very bad for Justin knowing what I know about the business at this point.

When my son was little he was super cute, talented etc. Everybody told me I should take him to Hollywood and get him into show business because he was so natural at it. But I chose not to because I’ve never trusted Hollywood in any way shape or form. Now my son is 20 and he’s really mad at me for not letting him get into all that but I don’t care because I know I did the right thing and when he gets older, and mature, he will understand. Moms have to protect their children at all costs. Moral of the story, NEVER EVER EVER TRUST HOLLYWOOD AND THE TIES THAT COME WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!
Same, I have 4 sons who all have an exotic look and they were 6ft by 12. Everyone always told me I should get them into modeling or acting because they're so handsome. I even have identical twins and you know hollyweird loves twins.. I was a struggling single mom after divorcing their father due to DV, but I never trusted hollyweird either and no way in hell I would throw my sons to the wolves. I didn't even date until they were all adults and I divorced their father when they were all eyes old and younger.. predators intentionally target single moms, no thanks. I would've killed someone and then WTF would've happened to my boys? I have PTSD, and I can dissociate quickly, I could've literally tortured someone and wouldn't have felt bad for them if anything had happened to one of my sons. It's also why I've always been good in emergency situations and my aunt and mom survived because I can dissociate and just do wtf needs to be done with letting my emotions get in the way.. it's a hellava come down though when the emergency is over and your emotions come back though. ❤

There's plenty of beautiful kids that were made with lots of love. My son is Blaxican, perfect features, full lips but not huge...even his eyebrows are perfectly shaped. 6 feet tall, lite mocha skin. I'd get comments from grown women talking about he should be a model. He wasn't interested. You do realize just cuz you take them to Hollywood very few actually make it. That's probably a blessing.
