Hello Sir
I have setup that VPN but my VPN client is only able to ping private IP of VPN server. Not able to ping / access any of the other servers in the remote LAN, I means VPN client is not able to access all other servers / PC in VPN server’s LAN.
Please explain what to do if the server behind a router, like internet routers.

Why you selected "Routing" services?
We need only VPN.
Please explain.
Im able to atempt to connect to vpn and it asks for my auth but after typing it and waiting some time connections fails in a mean time it says establishing connection. (saying vpn tunnels failed) (im able to ping the virtual station and do all other stuff but i cant make conection stick to it)
any advice ?
Can't configure Routing and Remote Access (ISC is enabled) but I disabled it... any ideas?
what is the error you are getting ?
Can we also get the video showing on how to have a DHCP server dedicate the IP addresses to the VPN clients, instead of having the IP pool?
Sure..I didn't think about that during the video series..
how many client can access this vpn server at same time ??
as many as port connections you set or DHCP Leases you set
I configured again and again. It works but only in my LAN. I want to access the server from home. Haow can i do this? Thank you.
You need to open ports
@@SanteriHietanen and port forwarding from your router also must be configured
"Unknown host" any idea how to fix that?
You need to have your computer on the same network to be able to see the VPN Server. If you are outside the network you need to set port forwarding or Nat-ing to get to the server.
try pinging vpn server before you connect to it. that way you can confirm at least if you are able to access it.
thanks it is nice you explained very clear
one thing i dont understand is the vpn server 2016 must join first to the Root domain and server 2016 must have two NIC card one public and another private
how communicate network 10.0.0.0 with network 192.168.49.0
thanks for respons
I dn get it too. Any help would be appreciated
it is communicating through nat or bridged network I believe. second nic is to handle vpn requests coming to the server. I tested this setup in virtual box and it is working fine for me.
The two cards thing is confusing as fuck
