This place is in vicinity of Kolkata's most iconic jogger's park ('Lake' or Rabindra Sarovar) and it is a running joke that people come to run and exercise in morning and evening and improve their cardiovascular health only to succumb to the lure of Maharaja and Maharani kachori and sweets on their way back!

It’s all complimentary unless you choose to buy a separate vegetable dish like Chhole, Ghugni (pea gravy), paneer dishes etc. some shops give ghugni with Rotis too.

I was really surprised when I saw the thumbnail at first-seeing a foreigner in Kolkata enjoying local food! I couldn't resist and immediately clicked to watch the video. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, from the vibrant streets to your genuine reactions to the food. I must say, your Hindi is really impressive, and the way you interact with everyone, whether they are rich or poor, shows how respectful and humble you are. It was heartwarming to see you appreciate Bengali cuisine, and your experience brought back so many memories. Keep sharing such amazing content, it’s truly a delight to watch! Looking forward to more food adventures from you!

Khasta kochuri is a stuffed bread kind of a thing and goes better with some sweet chutney..where as normal kachori(puri) tastes better with sabji as your friend suggested..also you could have tried some sweet dish after having that spicy breakfast that would have balanced everything perfectly..Next time!
It's lovely to see how you're exploring every bits and peaces of this country so humbly and politely. Great gesture, Chris. Welcome to Kolkata and all the best for your next ventures ❤

*What a Poetic Justice (Injustice here actually)*
Max : If Dada(word) Is for Elder Brother , what(word) is for Elder sister?
    Chris : Didi i think...
    *AND SUPREMO DIDI APPEARS*
FOR those who don't know: there was a political poster right by the side where the face of Chief Minister of *WASTE BENGAL* appeared. She is popularly called DIDI.
She is our Noah leading Bengali to Hell.😊

Secondly for one cm you cant judge a whole state thirdly you may have your opinion but as an Indian Bengali I have seen that my state is the most hated one by people like you. Your state is a waste and if you are a bengali then nijer state ke waste bolata akta crime.

You don't need to finish off 'Aloo sabzi alone'..In India most of the time we manage our bites of Poori such that the Aloo sabzi get finish along with the 'Poori'...It is ok if you leave the leftover Sabzi.. as it is so spicy, if not taken in any Combo.
