Thank you everyone for visiting the channel. This week's video displays a simple but much needed clean-up of an old vise I have been using on the channel. I use it hard and will continue to do so after this "restoration" so it is not going to have mirrored finishes and perfect paint jobs you may see other people do when restoring a vise. If you enjoy this content and wish to see more, please consider subscribing. If not, no worries. Please leave a comment telling us why you like it or did not like it. I don't mind criticism but please be courteous. There is enough turmoil in the world right now, we don't need to unnecessarily create more in a YT comment section. Thanks for watching and hopefully I will see you in the next one! Cheers! 🍻
Yes! You are not wrong. She usually does not know until she watches the video but last week she caught me while filming. Spoiler alert: you might get to see it in an upcoming video... 😉 🤙
Thank you! It needed a good cleaning as does most of my equipment. If everyone enjoys this type of content, I'll get to the other stuff eventually as well. Thanks for the comment. Peace!
It looks wonnderful, though I must admit I may have liked to see some original red. I'm new to your channel today and working through some of your videos. I like that your work is is good but not overly perfectionist. It makes it more relatable.
Thanks for the great feedback. I restore items like this to use in my shop or at home so over doing it on aesthetics for video purposes is not efficient. It turns some people off who are used to the type of restorations some other channels present. There is one exception - the BB gun I repaired and restored is now at a national museum (probably sitting in a dusty warehouse but still...). Thanks for visiting my channel!!
Hey you missed a spot with the welding job.😀 Seriously though, really good work. I love the cold blueing. It definitely brings out the character while preserving it too.
You talking about the one spot near the jaw?? I know! I could not get it to weld properly there. I tried a few times and actually made it worse than when it started so I left it. My welding blows anyway and I didn't have the proper rods for this job. I should have just let it all be as it was. Thanks for pointing it out!! 🤙🍻
Really, I was just kidding around. It's not in me to point out flaws if I do see them. I have too many of my own to do that. Nothing but respect for your work. I hope to start up something like this soon. I think I have seen most of the restoration videos on you tube. Would like to contribute my effort someday.
Я получил много комментариев о том, как очистить свои грязные тиски в предыдущих видео. Я не утверждаю, что это реставрация, просто чистка. Спасибо за комментарий.

Just the right amount of restoration
Thank you. I agree. Anything more would have been for show only. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
Those are some super cute pups! The vice looks brand new. Great job!
Yes they can be cute sometimes when they are not causing trouble! Thank you for your continued support of the channel. See you in the next one!
Wow that’s crazy!!! Excellent work my friend, love the structure of your videos!! Much love ☺️🙌🙏🥰
Thanks...just a simple cleaning but the vice does look better for it and should show better in future videos. Appreciate the feedback. 🍻
Dude, I think you're using your wife's kitchen utensils like me. I did not miss the glass baking tray 😁 Great work 👌 And orange 😊

Another great restore, now… about that poor little green vice you used to restore this one!! 😄
Ha! I knew someone was going to mention the big vise!! Well deserved...I'll add it to the list. Thanks!!

@@g.l.swartz3157 Dude it's all good. I was just giving you a hard time!! See you in the next one! 🍻
I can smell the parts wash water through the screen. 😂
Ha! I can usually taste it for a few hours after each use... 🍻
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻
Thanks 🍻
Restoration or deep cleaning? Your own vice could use cleaning.
A much-needed deep cleaning for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. Peace!
Nicely done + new sub.
Thanks. Welcome to the channel. 🥃🤙

@@RestorationAustralia Got it! Responding now.
ну прям очень классно!
Спасибо!
Они итак работали. Какой смысл был реставрировать? Просто ради контента?

Very handsome
Me or the vise? Haha, just joking! Thanks for watching and for the nice comment. 🤙 🍻
