2022 Ducati Diavel 1260 S: A Closer Look at the Black and Steel Edition

The "Black and Steel" version of Ducati's power cruiser, the Diavel 1260 S 2022, has just been unveiled. This new version has a sleek gray and black design with yellow accents instead of the traditional red color scheme. The Diavel Black and Steel joins the Diavel 1260 S in Black and Dark Stealth and the base Diavel model in Dark Stealth in Ducati's lineup of power cruisers. Prices for the Diavel 1260 S begin at USD 33,970 (IDR 485 million), and for the XDiavel 1260 S at USD 39,310 (IDR 561 million), both without shipping.
A potent 1,262 cc Testastretta DVT V-twin engine powers the Diavel Black and Steel, generating 162 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It has a six-speed transmission with a slipper clutch, a chain final drive (the XDiavel has a belt drive), and a Ducati up-and-down quick shifter. As part of the Ducati Safety Pack, the motorcycle also has cutting-edge safety features like Bosch ABS Cornering EVO, wheelie, launch, and traction control. Other features include a configurable full-color TFT-LCD instrument panel that can connect to the Ducati Link app for smartphone integration, keyless entry, backlit switches, cruise control, and keyless start.
