These tricks are killer for aviation exams where every second is important. Thank you.
Gonna use this on my cadet pilot exam haha
"killer" ha
Holy crap you sound like bruce off finding nemo... Love it
I'm dyslexic and never understood maths untill now... Thankyou 😊 your videos are amazing
Found your channel a couple weeks back. I'm really good and quick at adding small and big numbers but when it came to percentage I was baffled unless it was easy (10, 20, 25, 33, 50% and so on) but since I've come across your channel everything is easy peasy. Thank you, Sir!!
I went on google for a explaination but it was too confusing so i decided to watch your video and it was SO MUCH EASIER.
Thanks and Happy New Year, tecmath!
Thank you, tecmath. Hope you had a fantastic 2019.
Thanks mate. You too
Great content. Thank you!
All thankssss
You are the best your videos very helpful.
You make me the best.
You're the best ! Your videos helped me a lot !
Thank you. Your comment means a lot :)
I managed to figure out this trick about 2 years ago by myself when I was 15 but you just reminded me of it.
thank you so much, I have a vet school mmi interview with a numeracy section with no calculator. tried so many methods but you saved my butt.
This makes so much sense I can understand your point thank u
thank you for helping me! super simple and easy :)
This makes more sense than the formula I was taught. ...and it is more fun too.🤗💚
Using this is great, I used this to get to my ideal weight after I broken my foot and didn't get out of the house and I put on the weight and then I have used this brilliant idea to how to lose the lbs of weight and now I'm back on track and the kgs I have to weigh I will be able to do soon thanks for the video.👍
I love this channel
You are the best!
You are very good teacher 👨🏫
Why not just using Kg instead of lbs.. oh c’mon let’s unite folks so no more conversions :) happy 2020
Yes it's about time Myanmar, the USA and Liberia joined the modern world.
Thanks for this, especially the pounds to kilos!
I am so bad at math always have been. I’m 59 and you are going to teach me math every day until I’m a genius ❤️
Neat tricks.
Why the heck are they not teaching this in school
I've said this before. You should be given a Knighthood and an AO for services to education!
Great video, very easy to work out the difference between kilos and pounds. I do feel, though, that you just need to slow down a bit for the section on converting kilos to pounds. I had to watch the video twice over for that part to sink in. Otherwise very good.
35 ×2 and then since we need to find the 0.2 pounds of the answer we can just go 35kg ÷10 ie 3.5 then times 2 for the full answer ie 70+7=77 lb
Could you make a video on compound percentages
I force my kids to watch your videos. They need the math help 😁
Don t force them , they re not gonna learn anything !
Let them do what they like
@@alxap99 agree, forcing them wont help to learn anything. They will just wasting their time which is worse .
no 1,61803398875 I dont think he FORCE them! He just give them some tip what to watch!
He is literally saying that he is forcing them..
Just use the 1kg /2.211bs as a conversion factor. Its easier to remember and set up.
267kg = 534+ 53.4 = 567.4 lb 😮
Im imagining that Chris Hemsworth is a math nut with a secret youtube channnel.
or... get this... we can make the Americans use the same units of measurement as the rest of the world, that would solve all the problems tbh
Silver Maybe because America does what America wants to do.
Yeeeeees! I don't understand their logic using F and Miles. MAKES NO SENSE. It is so hard to remember the conversion ratios.
The diving by 11 seems overly complicated to me. 18 ÷ 2 = 9, just substract .9 = 8.1.
86lbs to kg, 86/2 = 43 - ~4 = ~39lbs
@tecmath
Hey Josh.
Why don't you multiply by 2 as per your example and then multiply by 11(you already did it with dividing) instead of trying to figure out a percentage. It's slow. look
17kg x 2 = 34
then use the 11 trick
3 3+4 4 = 374 ÷ 10= 37.4 lbs.
No muckin around with clumsy percentages.
😉👍
I should get this, but I'm going to blame the late hour: why is the remaining 0.2 = 10%?
0.2 is 10% of 2 (the first part of the answer)
@@tecmath that makes total sense. Thank you!
I think the method is wrong for lbs to kg because when I do 33lb into kg I get 15 kg like the answer you got but when I do 15 kg into lbs I get 3lbs
Faster way to convert pounds to kilograms is to divide the pounds by 2 and then subtract 10% ( pounds divide by 2).
So 18 # divide by 2 = 9. 9 divide by 10 = 0.9. 9-0.9 = 8.1 kg.
How about lbs to kgs
Did u watch the video
Additionally you can just multiply by 2 then move the decimal to the left then multiply by 2 again and add that to your answer
Y I can't say 35kgs n 77lbs, instead of 35kg n 77lb.
Tks a lot, but how to convert Lb to Kg?
Watch the whole video! Patience :)

oops. i saw it :P
What happened to the first upload!?
Spot it was private
@@mes10728 Oh , i see. thank you.
The first upload had sound issues (90% in right speaker).
tecmath ohhhhh ok 👍
I am 72 kg converted to pounds
I’m first
Hooray!
😁
Convert 1,000,000,000,000 pounds into kilograms
When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.
are we not going to mention how 12kg is not 26.4 pounds? ok
Or just get your calculator out and multiply/ divide by 2.2
Edit: I’m dumb
It's nice to convert between the two without using a calculator.
2.2 mate...2.2lb per kg!
This is a mental process though, of course you're not going to do this with a calculator.
Please don't talk so fast!
