That's pretty slick. For 11 times problems I usually add a zero ( 10 x 213 = 2130 ) then for 1 times part add the original number ( 2130 + 213 = 2343 ). * Of course it doesn't really matter how I do it, you're always going to be way faster than me!

Isn't it simpler to do 10 x 213 = 2130 plus 1 x 213 = 2343 this way I'm still using my ability to do simple addition and that means my basic skills are not lost. If I rely on clever "tricks" I can forget the basics.
