15:12 Li Ling's HP and def are both higher than those of Javid, Su Jue and Ossana, so they put a lower atk on him to balance. I guess this was made this way to make him a little bit tankier for him to make good use of that shield and have the opportunity to get more turns by surviving and thus be able to use his entire kit.

BL Li ling With astralis/avatara and sprit aegis buff. Its going to be a problem. extra points if you get Lu shaun and you get 25% extra ap on top of everything else everytime you take a turn or trigger avatara.... INSANE GAMING

Though it makes me wonder whether meta yun chuan will have smth in his kit like "if meta nezha is in the team, he will follow up when yun chuan/the dog attacks", to get the stacks up. Unless they really just made meta li lings kit as pure whale bait to get him to r6 or bust. That would be really sad
@@wheezel55 that isn't really true though. R0 su jue was already good. R0 momo slaps. R0 sloan is also a beast (even though she requires her team to wear a light set). R0 moroyama also does his job really well already. And of all these espers only momo is as hard locked limited as new li ling is, and her r0 is arguably the best value wise and that made it sorta okay because you didn't feel as cheesed by lilith.
His kit make him hit hard, but have to be quick to get enough requirements, now I see why he needs Lu Shang, for bigger damage, control enemies and other teammates can push him quicker The other lineups are good, they need to provide a bit more protection for Li Ling and enough speed
Since he AP absorb does this mean he can easily get countered by Yuuhime? If that’s the case he’s going to be really slow and squishy since Hamstrung also prevents avatara procs
New Li Ling sounds like you'll need to build a team around him, using Espers like Xuan Pin and Fabrice to force his turns faster so that he gets his S3 active immediately
I used chu yao liling lu shang and liam with this team he can cycle well u can add tiye too but 5th slot should be a healer I use r6 lian. He performed good but had to give liling extra 104 spd
So, without any resonance, Li Ling is terrible in waves since it constantly resets his stacks 🤔 I'm guessing our man Yun will be acquired in the same way...?
It feels like his kit is discouraging players from using him in PVP. Trying to keep Moroyama to survive for 1 turn to nuke the enemy is a nightmare for endgame players, no way anyone is going to try keeping Meta Nezha alive for 3 turns before he become useful. Meta Liling is built for long fights, and since everyone can get 2 copies of him for free, i think this is the devs’ way of giving us good Espers for new endgame PVE content down the road.
So far in PvP wise, while everyone is wuyou meta , I think no for PvP, but we did some Pve testing and actually working very well at r0d0 0 skill up , will make a video showcase within a few days
Follow up question/theory: Are meta li ling (n also meta yun chuan) meant to be pure pve espers that possibly enable each other? Cause his pvp damage output seems really mid for the amount of ramp up time n protection he requires. But the clearly gets stronger the longer the battel goes, and eg falsetto goes on forever n gives him time to power up
Honestly im not seeing how he is worth it. Even for expenders yes he is bonkers on paper, but he feels slow? Like he might suffer for the gaius problem (to many turns to do the dmg) stillhaving this liling kit being kinda balance does not change my mind that the meta esper thing is a bad idea ...
You said to avoid Wu You but isn't he doing true damage that ignores shield when he has more attack than the opponent? I think I've read something like that in his kit right?
@@Himikotaku yes, but only last hit will deal true dmg , also that is S2, which means U need to rotate 3 turns first, then use Ur S3 first ( which is an aoe ) then U unlock Ur S2, but high chance wuyou already breakdance by that time
R2 ~ 6 for sure will make it safer and better, but still won't unlock his S3 , which means no matter what reso U are, U still need him to take 3 turn ( which is good balance in a way )
